What I learnt from 2011
It can be really easy to dwell on the past and forget that you have a entire future waiting for you. Grudges do not get you anywhere, sometimes it is for the best to just take the past for what it is, a lesson, and move on. I am someone who can dwell & dwell & dwell on the past, and I've slowly realized that it isn't healthy to hold in anger or anxiety!
When I reflect on this year, it has been a big year for personal growth - some of it has been very painful, but I value it now because I have realized a lot of things about myself, and about others, that maybe I would have kept on overlooking.
I am excited to start the 2012 New Year on a much happier note then I rang in 2011; I am looking forward to all the fun & exciting things that are yet to come, & though I am incredibly happy 2011 is over - I do value the lessons the year taught me.
