An Inspiration: Audrey Hepburn

Wednesday, 4 January 2012

"The greatest beauty tip: For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his / her hands through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed, never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others. be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other."

"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years. "

The beautiful thing about Audrey Hepburn is that she is not just a pretty face, she is someone who really carried herself in a consistently elegant and classy way & she really wanted to better the world. She is so much more than a fashion inspiration to me, she is someone whom I would hope to mimic in how I carry myself.
WWAD = What would Audrey do?
