Makeup Haul! Product Review

Benefit Erase Paste: After purchasing LemonAid, and completely loving it, I was told that if I adored that product so much then I would absolutely be enamored with Erase Paste.  Walking into the Shoppers Drugmart I immediately spotted the Erase Paste and hurried on over to it. Standing in front of the Benefit display I began to feel a bit confused, I have never bought a concealer before so what is my shade? After a lot of testing and some much needed help from the counter-girl, I decided that I was the No.1 shade.  I was a bit nervous about this purchase because I know many people complain about concealers being too orangey, and since I know very little about concealers I thought it would be an easy mistake for me to make. Once I got home I tried the concealer on my under-eyes and all my nerves were put to ease. The colour looks incredibly natural, it brightens circles and doesn’t crease over time.
I am so happy that now I have LemonAid for my eye-lids and Erase paste for my under-eyes, I feel like my beauty bag is complete! They really work together to create a awake and smooth looking complexion. I do not think I will use the concealer anywhere else on my face, it’ll just be my under-eye fix-it, and so though the jar is a bit on the small side for $36 I believe it will last me quite a while.
I am thrilled with this purchase and will definitely be purchasing it again, and again, and again!

Benefit’s Box-of-Blush in Coralista: Of course my purchases couldn’t end at the “Erase Paste”, after finding my perfect concealer shade I began to play around with all the other wonders benefit has to offer. The counter-girl then suggested Coralista, one of the most popular Blusher boxes Benefit sells, that has a bright coral hue to it which is oh-so-perfect for Spring. After trying the tester on my hand and seeing how the pretty coral blusher applied I was sold.
When I got home I tried this colour on my face to see how it really looked on me. The colour applies lightly while still giving a natural-looking flush to your cheeks, it also has a under-tone of golds that really define cheek-bones and give more structure to your face. The colour really works well on my skin-tone, I am a very light sort of ivory skin colour – the counter girl said she would call it “porcelain” because it is very pale, and the coral colour makes my skin-tone look more like a peaches and cream skin tone which makes me really happy. I love when people have cutely flushed cheeks and I feel like this blusher gives me just that look! Hooray!

Gosh Nail Polish:  I am so in love with this colour, how fantastically mint is that? It was only $7 from Gosh, which I think is a pretty great deal! I probably should've done one more coat, you can see my thumb is a bit splotchy, but I was rushed and I am still pretty happy with the result.
