Oh wonderful wonderful Saturday!
Today I am away from the city, at my home away from home & in the place Jeremy grew up. I am surrounded by beautiful tall trees, crashing waves on heavy grey rocks and super chilled out hippies - I so wish I lived here, "Peace to the World, Man".
I am here to celebrate with my friends Jeremy's Birthday which was actually on the 18th. We are staying at our friends house here and going to deck the place out to ring in Jeremy's 25th birthday right! I really want to make this birthday special for him, it's an important one and I want it to be filled with great memories of all of us together.
This outfit is not what I am wearing to the party - it is not 1970's enough to fit into this town so I am actually going to be wearing something quite different this evening! Bell-bottoms perhaps? We shall see!....
Anyways, this dress is from Jacob Clothing and I purchased it a few months ago after seeing it in the store window and falling in love with it. It has a drop waistline and is super comfy and flattering. I decided to top this dress with my edgy leather coat from Danier Leather and then add a shock of print with my leopard print bag. To finish the look I added on my oversized gemstone ring and twisted chain necklace. I really love this look for a fun night downtown or a date night with Jeremy because it is a bit on the sexy side while still being comfortable.
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

DeleteVery nice outfit! Rock & Roll baby ;)! Totally out of control! Sometimes small accessories can do the trick to make something "modern" more from "back in the days". I do it a lot! You could add a headband, wear some boots, add a belt and change the bag.. 1970s outfit here we are! :D What are you planning on wearing? One of my favourite things from 1970s fashion are the maxi skirts and dresses with cute lace, just love'em! I'm a huge fan of That 70s Show, mostly because of the clothes. I got a lot of inspiration from that series!
ReplyDeletePlanned anything special for your bf? Hope you have a nice party hun!

DeleteHey Bree!
ReplyDeletelove the color of the red dress , its very bold , perfect for a night out in my opinion. There is something about pairing red and black that always works. I think your black jacket helps bring out the red even more. oh and before I forget the leopard bag is like the cherry on top for this outfit.
your looking great and chic as usual!
