Blue

 

I had a pretty productive weekend, finished up all my packing for the new house which was quite the challenge.  We are moving this Thursday officially so I had to work quickly on getting all my stuff done over the weekend because I simply can't move much more during the work week.  Thankfully though, with Jeremy's help, we got every single thing done! Yay! Now I can finally breathe and stop panicking!

Aside from packing, I also really enjoyed the beautiful sunshine this past weekend, it was really incredible. Today is supposed to be another beautiful day, unfortunately I'll be inside looking out at it, but it's better to be looking at a sunny day rather than a rainy one!! 

So this is a pretty casual outfit, this is something I'd wear basically any day for running around town doing my errands or whatever else. It's a basic casual outfit consisting of my favourite leather jacket, a comfy floral printed T-shirt, blue jeans and my moto studded boots.

 

You can't fully see this, but the back of this T-shirt is button-downed and has some really neat seam detailing as well. What you do end up getting to see here is my Scoliosis surgery scar, it's making a very rare appearance! If you'd like to read more on my Scoliosis experience then

I am wearing a array of rings and bracelets that I really love, I feel like they add a bit more colour to this very casual look. Plus they add a bit more of an edge to the look, it makes it less casual and more put together.

Lastly there on my accessory list is my Nine West purse which I purchased when I went to New York in 2010.  This purse alongside some matching blue suede boots, were my two big purchases from my NYC trip. I fell in love with them the instant that I saw them in the store window and I knew I wouldn't be leaving without them. The colour was so interesting to me, it seemed like a neutral tone almost because it went with everyday but it still added so much colour to my outfits. 

The jeans I am wearing are from American Eagle, they are basically like wearing lulu lemons - that's how comfortable they are. They are a really bright blue denim and they really seem to hug all the right places, which I definitely cannot say about all the jeans I've owned. I have always had an issue with denim, as I am sure many other women have, that the jeans will fit my hips but not my legs! The legs will be loose and slouchy instead of slim fitting! It is incredibly frustrating, so when I find a pair of jeans that fits both my hips as well as my legs properly I buy them, no matter the cost!

*By the way I wanted to quickly apologize for the terribel photo quality in recent photos, and honestly I cannot promise you anything better in the weeks to come. It's been rainy, cold and dark basically all day every day and that is really hindering my photo capabilities! Hopefully we'll have a bright and sunny day soon and I'll be able to take a better outfit photo for you all!
