Plum

Hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday!

I know I am! I feel like this week has just ran smoothly, maybe not so much at work, but home life has just been easy peasy and simple. I haven't felt rushed during my evenings and I have felt like I've gotten a lot done, without exhausting myself. I do think this wonderful weather really has something to do with it, the sun light makes the evenings feel more usable - like you can get so much done without wasting the whole night away.

 Last night Jeremy made us a wonderful dinner, which means we have wonderful leftovers for lunch today - yum yum! He made us hot chilli rice salad, Dill snapper & a red wine salad, which was delicious, he is such a great chef - I am always so impressed! I seriously think he needs to teach me how to chop veggies too because he will chop them up so quickly and I take forever, fearful that I am going to slice off my finger! 

So onto the outfit, this outfit is something I usually wear when I am going on a date with Jeremy or out for a nice dinner. It is a pretty casual outfit with the burgundy cardigan and plum top, until you add in the skirt, which really dresses it up. The skirt is a lovely silky material that has this lovely sheen to it which really makes the entire look more put together and sophisticated.

See how shiny it is? I am a sucker for shiny things, honestly it is the main reason I bought the skirt!  Plus it's super soft and feels lovely, but the real tipping point for me was the silky shine it has in the sun light.  Also it is kind of a neat skirt because it is a sandy beige colour but in the sunlight it has a sort of pinkish hue to it that is really lovely.

Then there is my clutch bag, which I just love so so much because of its wonderful colour.  The warm peachy coral colour really adds a wonderful touch to any outfit, but particularly this outfit because this outfit is already in the reddish hued realm. It just adds another hue from that colour wheel into the outfit.

Lastly, the outfit is completed with my cream coloured pumps from Nectar Clothing. Super comfortable, super high, super lovely pumps!
