Happy Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
I am spending today, Valentine's Day, with my favourite fella Jer! Well truth be told first I am going to work and then I will be spending the remainder of Valentine's Day with J. I am not really sure what we are doing honestly, he is all about the surprises it seems so I guess I will just have to fill you all in tomorrow!
But it looks like I am not the only one in for a surprise because....I sneaked a little surprise in his lunch to brighten up his day; a lovely little single serving lemon pie. He is a pie-guy more than a cake-guy so when I saw it sitting on the bakery shelve I thought "Eureka, I've got it!" and quickly ran it up to the register. I also put a little home-made card in his lunch too, hopefully it'll bring him a smile and warm his heart through his typically chaotic work day.
I hope you're all having an amazing Valentine's day spent with a loved one, a friend, or heck - even a cuddly pet! I always figure that Valentine's day is more about sharing the love rather than the commercial holiday bit - the cards, the chocolates, the gifts, etc...So share the love!
