If you know me, you know that I am not really a morning person. I wake up early, but I am no bundle of fun before 9 AM.
For this reason, when I have meetings or need to be out of the house early, I always turn to my easy and simple 5-minute makeup routine. But, since it’s the new year, I decided to take my original easy 5-minute makeup and step it up.
Today’s 5-minute face is a bit more fresh and vibrant looking, so if you’re on the hunt for an easy, fresh, and flawless looking 5-minute face than you’ve come to right place!
Easy Makeup Tips
-
-
- Switch out your foundation for a BB Cream. This is a lighter coverage and takes less blending time.
- Stick to a simple light-tone neutral eye look. A light neutral base is easy to apply and won’t require as much thought or blending as bright or dark colours will. This will cut down on the time you spend in front of the mirror.
- Brighten up your shadow, and add depth by simply adding a light satin textured shadow to the center of your eye. If you started with a matte base than you’ll find this adds a bit of a “pop” to your eye look.
- Skip the perfect eyeliner look. Use eyeshadow to create a smudgier line that blends out into the outer corner.

You look lovely Bree! I wish I could use a lighter base like a BB cream but they melt off my face in about an hour 🙁
