When it comes to sunny cold days like the ones we’ve been having lately in Vancouver, I am all about layered up looks that have unique detailing. I don’t know about you, but baroque print has to be one of my absolute favourite winter time prints; which is why this golden baroque scarf has become one of my absolute favourite pieces to add a bit of style & glamour to a cozy everyday outfit. During the winter I’ve always felt that statement scarves are every bit as essential as statement necklaces, they add a bit of glam while keeping you cozy – a style win, win!
It’s these sorts of looks that I just love for those days that you need an outfit that transitions from day to night seamlessly; or those days that you aren’t entirely sure where the day will bring you – kind of like this past Saturday. If you follow me via FB or Instagram then you may already know that on Saturday I was downtown looking at apartments, and some new clothes, with J and that we stopped over at the Food Truck Fest. After our long day of house hunting and clothes shopping downtown we were both super hungry and so we lined up to try a Mom’s Grilled Cheese at the Food Truck Fest. I tried an amazing spicy grilled cheese and a delicious spicy ginger tea, the perfect cap off to our already incredibly fun day.
I hope you all had an amazing weekend!
