Please Me By MAC:
I purchased this lipstick back in March and it’s fast become one of my most worn lipsticks in my collection. It’s a really lovely fresh muted pink hue that is perfect for day & night looks.
NYX Lip Cream in “Milan”:
Milan is a shade that I’ve wanted to add into my collection for a long time but I had a heck of a time finding it.
After months of looking, I finally tracked down a store that carried the full NYX cosmetics line and I picked this colour up. This colour is similar to Please Me but is slightly pinker/ deeper. I love the way it applies and stays to lips all day. It’s a great product and very fairly priced.
Bare Minerals Highlighter in “the love affair”:
The love affair is an illuminator/blush colour that I purchased a while back and though I loved it then, I love it even more now!
The colour has been beautiful for spring. The soft peachy/rosy notes in it really pick up wonderfully in the spring sunshine!
Benefits Box-O-Powder in “Hoola”:
I purchased Hoola after much searching for the “perfect bronzer” for light/fair skin. I have always feared the awful orange look that many bronzers give but my fears have been put to rest since using Hoola. It’s a matte which means it has no shimmer or flecks of orange/gold which makes it a great go-to for getting that sunkissed glow (without the sun!)
Albatross by NARS:
My lovely fella gave me this illuminizer to celebrate The Urban Umbrella reaching 1000 readers – what a sweet guy!
I have since then been super obsessed with this colour. I love how buildable and versatile this product is. It’s great for day and night looks and I even sometimes wear it as an eye-shadow colour.
I adore the golden under-notes and am excited to wear it even more this summer!
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette:
Lately, this palette has been my go-to. I love the range of greige shadows and have been finding that they are super easy to work with for daily looks.
Garnier Caffeine Concealer:
I have been using this concealer for a while under my eyes. This concealer is very light weight and applies very naturally which I really like. I don’t really notice the whole “caffeine” aspect of it but I will say that it makes eyes look much brighter and alert.
7 Virtues Perfume:
Another gift from the fella here! He purchased me this lovely perfume for Christmas and I have been wearing it daily since. I love fresh citrus smells & this perfume is just that. It’s a very light perfume that smells of grapefruit & lime, I completely adore it! Read my full review here.
Macadamia Natural Healing Oil:
I have written about my love of Macadamia Oil products before. This product I received as a mini “side gift” when I purchased the Macadamia Oil infused paddle brush and at first I didn’t pay much attention to it.
Lately though, I have been using it on my hair a lot and even putting it through my ends throughout my work day. My office space is really dry so my hair/skin/hands all get very dry as well and this oil has been saving my hair from getting frizzy and awful. (Be sure to check out my Macadamia Natural Oil Review)
Sally Hershberger Supreme Lift Hair Spray:
I have always had voluminous hair but recently have felt that my typically big unruly locks were lying a tad flat. I decided to amp up the volume by using a root-lifting spray and decided to purchase the Sally Hershberger Supreme Lift Hair Spray. I have been using this for about a month now and can safely say I love it.
Macadamia Natural Oil mask:
This hair mask has become a HG item for me. It’s funny because when I first tried this product out I found it too heavy for my hair but now I love how soft and moisturized it leaves my usually dry/damaged locks! I have repurchased this a few times and am now considering branching out from just the mask, healing hair spray & healing oil and trying out some of their other products! If you have any recommendations, let me know!
