Becca Cosmetics X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Review

Reading Time: 3 minutesBecca Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector review, Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter review   Chances are, you’ve heard of the Becca Cosmetics X Jaclyn Hill beauty collaboration that was launched a while back – and in particular you’ve likely heard about the Champagne Pop highlighter. It’s been so popular that it seems nearly everyone has tried it! If you haven’t heard of it, than I think it’s safe to say you’ve been living under a rock!

For those of you that do know about Champagne Pop, you likely are thinking that I am pretty late to the game on this one – and you’re right. I love highlighters, but since I use such a small amount at a time, I find that it takes me forever to go through them. Plus, over the last year I’ve tightened my makeup budget because I have so many products and our bath cabinets are nearly filled to the brim at this point!   Becca Cosmetics Champagne pop review   So, originally when Champagne Pop was released I resisted buying it. I had just sworn off purchasing new products, and had promised myself I wouldn’t even walk into a Sephora until I really needed a new product. That is until I was out with a friend and was so mesmerized by her highlighter that I had to ask what it was. When she said it was the Becca Cosmetic’s Champagne Pop, I was hardly surprised. I had heard so much about it, read countless reviews, and saw it used in so many tutorials that it came as no surprise that one of my fellow beauty-fiend friends had grabbed it! After that she let me know that it had quickly become her absolute favourite highlighter and that she wore it nearly everyday.  Well, that completely convinced me that this was a product I “really” needed and I ran over to Sephora to grab it for myself.   Becca Cosmetics Champagne pop review

Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Highlighter Review

The Colour:

Typically, I have used highlighters that have a more pearly white tone to them since I am so fair skinned. But, there’s something so unique and refreshing about Champagne Pop and it does feel surprisingly wearable even on my pale skin.  Champagne Pop is a peach tone highlighter that has notes of pink and gold through it.

Word of caution: It is a super bold highlighter and you only needed the smallest amount of product to get a really beaming highlight.

The Quality and Formula

The quality of this highlighter is like no other. While this highlighter is a powder formula, it still is somehow super buttery feeling and incredibly blendable. I kept hearing bloggers describe the highlighter as “buttery smooth” but I didn’t understand what they really meant until I got my hands on the Champagne Pop highlighter myself.  It feels very luxurious, and really does glide onto your skin so beautifully.

Cost:

At nearly $50.00 this is an undeniably expensive highlighter and what I would consider is super luxury product. The cost is steep, but the product is amazing. Becca Cosmetics Highlighter

So.. What’s my final verdict?

The Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop highlighter is an absolute MUST have. It’s so beautiful, and creates a seriously gorgeous glow on your skin. I think the main things that set it apart are the colour and the quality.   The colour is so warm and fresh looking, and though the formula of this highlighter is powder it somehow is still very buttery and smooth. I can pretty much promise you that you’ll get friends asking you “which highlighter are you wearing?!?” and then have to run out and get it for themselves when you wear the Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop Highlighter.   Enjoyed this post? Single-use items are used for a short time, but they have a lasting impact on our environment. I believe nature is sacred and we need to cherish it, support it, and respect it. That’s why when I go on a hike I always make sure to bring my reusable water bottle.

Carrying a reusable water bottle is a simple Superhabit that you can implement anywhere you go! So this summer stay hydrated and stay environmentally responsible with a reusable water bottle! #WhatsYourSuperhabit

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛
