Bite Beauty was founded by Susanne Langmuir and is a Canadian-based organic beauty company. All their products are handmade in Toronto, Canada.  If you have been following my blog for a while now than you likely know that one of my all-time favourite lip products is the Bite Beauty Tinted Lipbalms in Leche.  Leche was the first Bite Beauty product I ever tried out, and I completely fell in love with it and the brand. I actually used it in one of my favourite makeup tutorials, the Glowy and Romantic Makeup tutorial that I thought would make a lovely wedding day / bridal makeup look. vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil Review, Bite Beauty, Amuse Bouche Lipstick Review, Amuse Bouche Swatches, Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil Swatches, Amuse Bouche Lipsticks, Bite Beauty Lip Pencils,Influenster, Best Lip liners, bite beauty amuse lipstick, bite beauty amuse bouche, bite beauty lipstick, bite beauty honeycomb lipstick, bite beauty whiskey lipstick, bite beauty 020 lip pencil, bite beauty 044 lip pencil Anyways, when Influenster sent me their Bite Beauty box I was so excited.  As a fan of the brand, and a mega-fan of their lip products, receiving their latest lipsticks and lip pencils was super exciting for me. It was like having Christmas in February. To see my full review and swatches, watch my Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil and Amuse Bouche Lipstick Review & Swatches on my Youtube channel!

Bite Beauty Lip Pencils

One of the best things about Bite Cosmetics Lip Pencils is that they’re formulated without any harsh or harmful chemicals such as Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates. Instead, they’re made up of moisturizing and rich ingredients such as beeswax, shea butter, and candelilla wax. This mix of ingredients helps create the rich and creamy texture of these lip pencils.

Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil 044

This lip pencil is described as a rich mahogany. It’s a very dark and rich colour with a vampy burgundy undertone to it. When applied, it glides on effortlessly with full dark pigmentation.

Bite Beauty Lip Pencil 020

This lip pencil is described as a beige nude. It has a very light peachy-nude tone to it which is perfect to wear under any nude or natural tone lipstick. Like 044, this pencil glides over your lips easily with full pigmentation. You do not need to re-line or re-apply this colour to achieve a solid application. Bite Beauty Lipstick Amuse Bouche Lipstick

Just like the lip pencils, the lipsticks are also formulated without any harsh or harmful chemicals such as Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates. They are natural and organic and apply with full coverage and colour with just one swipe. These lipsticks apply effortlessly as their texture is so rich, moisturizing, and creamy. While I personally would not describe them as long-wear (though to be fair, I am hard on lipsticks as I am constantly sipping water!), I would say that as they fade they do not become patchy which makes them still very easy to wear for hours on end without having “spotty” looking lips. One thing I loved about these lipsticks were how they removed at the end of the day. Since I’ve been wearing lots of liquid lipsticks lately, I forgot how nice it is to be able to simply remove lipstick without scrubbing it off! These lipsticks remove easily and won’t leave your lips feeling dry or chapped.

Bite Beauty Honeycomb “Beige Nude”

This colour is very wearable and natural for daily wear, and it’s one I will definitely wear often in the coming months. On the Sephora website, this lipstick colour is described as a beige nude and while I agree with that, I would also add that it has a slight peach tone.

Bite Beauty Whiskey “Rich Mahogany with Red”

This lipstick is a brown-tone red that is perfect for a night look – or a super bold daytime look. This vampy colour is particularly great for the fall and winter season.

AND…. THANK YOU!

Lastly, I just wanted to take some time today to also thank all of you who have gone ahead and supported my Youtube Channel! As a naturally shy person, starting this channel was pretty intimidating for me, but with your support, it’s become such a joyful and fun outlet to share my beauty and fashion addiction. So, thank you to all of you who’ve watched my videos and subscribed – and if you haven’t seen my youtube channel yet then be sure to stop by – I’d love to know your thoughts!

If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want to spend all of my spare time off grid, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees and mountains — I would’ve told you that you were crazy... But here we are 🤷‍♀️😂🌲💛 #WhereLifeLeads
“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛

I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the loss and illness that so many have experienced from C. It has been an extraordinarily hard two years for many, many people, for all sorts of different reasons and it is not my aim to diminish any of them. What I am trying to express is that we are at a breaking point societally.

If we continue to move forward with coercion, mandates, restrictions, and divisive passports based on fear (or a hope) then we risk setting precedents that we may not be comfortable leaning on in the future. We also risk dividing our society to such a degree that may make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever bring back together. Despite all of the debates, arguments, and comments made over the last few years, I do not believe that deep down Canadians want to live in a state of perpetual division.

If this is not the time to unite and end these mandates, when is? It is our systems that are broken, and they have been broken for a very long time. We all know this. Let's unite and fix them, and more together 💛

Creating our own peace ☮️

Nearing the end of 2021, one thing that Jer & I wanted to prioritize was creating our own peace. Life has been exhausting for the last long while and, like most people, our mental well-being suffered from the current state of Canada. We knew we needed to make some changes, add something to our lives to remove us (even temporarily, now and again) from the chaos that is now the “new normal”. So, we began making road trips around BC to find our very own home away from home. I feel immensely lucky to now have this remote sanctuary in our lives. It is somewhere we can go when life gets too overwhelming, somewhere we could live eventually if life continues to be overwhelming. In just the first few days here, I’ve already felt a shift in my mindset. I feel incredibly lucky to have this place and already it feels like home. 💖
✨Growing pains✨ . . . 2021, for many of us, w ✨Growing pains✨
. . .
2021, for many of us, was a year of growth. Some of it was painful, most of it inspiring, and all of it necessary. Sometimes growing means needing to shed the older versions of ourselves and sometimes that can be difficult or cause a loss in friendships or relationships. It can be challenging - believe me, I get it. But, anything or anyone who couldn't respect your growth then won't respect your future growth. While growth can be painful it is not nearly as painful as the dull consistent ache of feeling stuck.
