Today I am sharing a super easy DIY Coffee Coconut Oil Body Scrub. Make this in just a few short minutes and enjoy smooth skin all summer long!

When should you use this DIY Coffee Coconut Oil Body Scrub?
You can use this coffee scrub at any time during your day, but I personally like using it best in the morning. The reason I like using coffee scrubs in the morning is that the scent of coffee is so invigorating and it really does wake you up! It’s such a great way to start the day – especially if you’re like me and feel quite groggy in the morning.

Is the scrub messy to use?
Yes, just like using any coffee scrub – it’s a bit messy to use. I always find that after using a coffee scrub that I end up wanting to do a quick shower scrub down in order to ensure all the coffee washes away.
DIY Coffee Coconut Oil Body Scrub
What you’ll need:
Ground Coffee (I used 1 cup) Salt or Sugar (use the equal amount to coffee) Coconut Oil (1/2 cup – liquid form) Essential Oils (I used Saje Lavender Essential Oil)Instructions:
Simply mix it all together! This really is the easiest DIY project you’ll ever do because there is truly only one step. You mix it together – oh, and you put it into a container and place it in the fridge. After that, you have a product you can use whenever you feel like your skin is in need of a little refresher. Best of all, because this scrub also contains coconut oil, you actually don’t dry or strip your skin as you do with many other body exfoliants and instead it really moisturizes the skin so that you’ll feel silky smooth! The coconut oil helps to further smooth and soften your skin while the coffee sloughs away any icky dry skin and improves blood flow.
I love using coffee in body scrubs! It smells so good and gives a really good exfoliation 🙂

Can you use already brewed coffee grounds or do they need to be dry?
I hadn’t tried with already brewed coffee but I am sure you could. I’ll try it out!
