Dr Roebucks Tama Healing Mask Review

Last year, I kind of fell off my usual mask routine. I used to mask once or twice weekly, and I loved it, but over the last few months, I’ve really neglected my face mask routine.   Recently though, I was sent the Dr Roebucks Tama Healing Mask with Turmeric Manuka Honey Avocado Oil and it kind of kicked my mask obsession back into gear.    Dr Roebucks Tama Healing Mask Review

How Long Should You Leave the Mask On for?

It is recommended you use this mask for 10-20 minutes. I tend to leave it on for 20 minutes because I really cherish my mask time.

How Often Should You Use the Mask?

It’s recommended that you use this mask every other day for the first week, and then 2-3 times weekly after that to maintain your results.  I personally have just been using this mask once a week as the package is quite small and you do use a lot of the mask each time.

Does the Dr Roebucks Tama Healing Mask Stain Your Skin?

No.  The mask doesn’t leave a yellow tint or stain on the skin at all. Admittedly, I was a little worried about this, too when I first tried it – but rest assured, it doesn’t stain!  Pro Tip: My friend Jane over at Cosmetic Proof messaged me on Instagram when I was trying this mask out a few weeks ago and let me know that I should use a darker cloth since this mask is yellow and will stain white cloths. I used a dark blue cloth to be safe.

Where Can You Buy the Dr Roebucks Skincare?

You can purchase the Dr Roebucks Tama Healing Mask and skin care at Shoppers Drug Mart locations, or on Dr Roebucks online.

Dr Roebucks Healing Mask Review Summary

Overall, I really like and enjoy this mask. It is really gentle on the skin which I really like since my skin does tend to be quite sensitive.  It also surprisingly hydrating for a clay mask! While it does dry down somewhat, it isn’t super dry so it’s really easy to remove from your skin with a damp cloth. I have gone ahead and used this mask once a week over the last few weeks and I’ve really liked how it’s made my skin look and feel more balanced.

I only recently heard of it, too – I believe it’s quite new to Canada! It’s available at Shopper’s locations now.

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛

I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the loss and illness that so many have experienced from C. It has been an extraordinarily hard two years for many, many people, for all sorts of different reasons and it is not my aim to diminish any of them. What I am trying to express is that we are at a breaking point societally.

If we continue to move forward with coercion, mandates, restrictions, and divisive passports based on fear (or a hope) then we risk setting precedents that we may not be comfortable leaning on in the future. We also risk dividing our society to such a degree that may make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever bring back together. Despite all of the debates, arguments, and comments made over the last few years, I do not believe that deep down Canadians want to live in a state of perpetual division.

If this is not the time to unite and end these mandates, when is? It is our systems that are broken, and they have been broken for a very long time. We all know this. Let's unite and fix them, and more together 💛

Creating our own peace ☮️

Nearing the end of 2021, one thing that Jer & I wanted to prioritize was creating our own peace. Life has been exhausting for the last long while and, like most people, our mental well-being suffered from the current state of Canada. We knew we needed to make some changes, add something to our lives to remove us (even temporarily, now and again) from the chaos that is now the “new normal”. So, we began making road trips around BC to find our very own home away from home. I feel immensely lucky to now have this remote sanctuary in our lives. It is somewhere we can go when life gets too overwhelming, somewhere we could live eventually if life continues to be overwhelming. In just the first few days here, I’ve already felt a shift in my mindset. I feel incredibly lucky to have this place and already it feels like home. 💖
✨Growing pains✨ . . . 2021, for many of us, w ✨Growing pains✨
. . .
2021, for many of us, was a year of growth. Some of it was painful, most of it inspiring, and all of it necessary. Sometimes growing means needing to shed the older versions of ourselves and sometimes that can be difficult or cause a loss in friendships or relationships. It can be challenging - believe me, I get it. But, anything or anyone who couldn't respect your growth then won't respect your future growth. While growth can be painful it is not nearly as painful as the dull consistent ache of feeling stuck.
