EXCITING NEWS:”Shifting a Shade” with Clairol Nice and Easy

Reading Time: 3 minutes
We all lead busy lives and between work, friends, and family it can feel like you just don’t have time for yourself. I truly believe it is essential to care for ourselves, to refresh our look and take a time-out to add a bit of glam to our style and beauty.

Aside from it being just plain old fun, it’s also a great way to de-stress from the chaos of our daily lives. Whether your “refresh and revamp” means shifting a hair colour, refreshing your beauty bag or investing in a new outfit is entirely up to you!

For me though, it seems I can never just tackle one of these things at a time and instead I love to overhaul my beauty, hair, and style all in one go. What can I say?  I’m all about a style and beauty challenge!

Lately, I’ve been thinking more and more that my style could use revamping. Especially, with summer coming to a close, it seems like the perfect time to reevaluate and reestablish my beauty, hair, and style – I’m thinking ombré hair, light, and awake makeup and comfortable layers are in order!
Excitingly enough, just as I was deciding to make a shift in my beauty and style routine, I was contacted by the Clairol team and invited to partner up to “Shift a Shade” with them!

If you’re ready to “Shift a Shade” then don’t forget to get $2 off your Clairol hair colour purchase, you can find your coupon here!

I think it’s fair to say Clairol likes a challenge, too, because we’re going to be teaming up to not only change up my hair, but also refresh my beauty and style routine as well!

I am so looking forward to learning more about beauty and style – and of course, sharing all my newfound knowledge with you fine folks!  Make sure you stay tuned; a full post on the entire Clairol Nice and Easy “Shift a Shade” experience will be coming up soon!

Go bolder. Go warmer. Go deeper. Go golder. With our broadest spectrum of natural looking shades, you can change it up and still look like your most amazing you. Get inspired and #shiftashade. Nice ‘n Easy with Colour-blend Technology is available in 44 shades. Bree… I can't wait to see your new hair color… I'm trying to lighten mine… it is going to take me a little longer because of the length….Hopefully I can get it changed up for next summer.

I am so very scared to do mine at home. Once, going from blond to brown my hair turned green!

Single-use items are used for a short time, but they have a lasting impact on our environment. I believe nature is sacred and we need to cherish it, support it, and respect it. That’s why when I go on a hike I always make sure to bring my reusable water bottle.

Carrying a reusable water bottle is a simple Superhabit that you can implement anywhere you go! So this summer stay hydrated and stay environmentally responsible with a reusable water bottle! #WhatsYourSuperhabit

I love heading outdoors with a few delicious treats and soaking up some sunshine. Picnicking in a responsible and environmentally conscious way is really important to me and that’s why I implement easy Superhabits - like using reusable containers, water bottles, and glassware - whenever I head outdoors.

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛
