First Impressions of the Silk’n Titan

Reading Time: 3 minutes

This is a sponsored campaign. All opinions expressed are (as always!) 100% my own!

Today I am sharing with you my first time trying the Silk’n Titan. If you’ve followed me for some time then you may already know that I am a fan of Silk’n products, I use both the Silk’n FX Face and Silk’n Blue devices and have always found their products to be properly and honestly advertised. When Silk’n recently reached out to me to try out their Silk’n Titan, I was immediately excited. I have read about the Silk’n Titan, but hadn’t yet taken the plunge to try it out, so I jumped at the opportunity. The Silk’n Titan is an at-home anti-aging device that uses infrared energy, LED light energy, and RF energy. Infrared Energy increases blood circulation to improve skin-tone; LED light energy increases collagen growth which reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles; RF energy penetrates beneath the skin to the connective tissue where it improves collagen production, tighten skin, and reduce sagging. Over the next 10 weeks, I’ll be trying out the Silk’n Titan. Today I am sharing my first impressions, but each week I’ll be hopping on Instagram to share updates on my skincare journey. And, of course at the end of all this I will summarize my entire experience and let you know my full thoughts on the Silk’n Titan.

How to Use the Silk’n Titan

To begin using your Silk’n Titan, you want to plug it in. You’ll notice the light around the button on the back lights up to notify you that it’s ready to go. You’ll then want to quickly test out the levels (starting with level 1) to see which level is most comfortable for you. I personally have just tried level 1, though I did feel like on my forehead and jawline area I could’ve tried level 2. Each level is a bit warmer than the previous, so if you’re more comfortable with heat you may find yourself using a higher level than I did. You then will want to apply the Hyaluronic Gel (which Silk’n provides you in your kit) to the area you’re focusing on. This Gel helps the Silk’n Titan device glide over your skin. If you begin to notice that the Silk’n Titan is pulling at your skin during the treatment, simply apply more Hyaluronic Gel. Now it’s time to apply the device to your face. Choose a section of your face that you want to focus on, and use the device on that section for 15+ minutes.

First Impressions of the Silk’n Titan

I found the Silk’n Titan device to be an extremely relaxing at home treatment. It is not painful or uncomfortable at all, it simply feels like warmth being run across your skin. I didn’t find that I had drastic results, but I did find that my skin looked overall more vibrant and hydrated. Seeing these first hints of improvement in my skin makes me extra excited to continue on trying the Silk’n Titan out! **For best results, you should use the Silk’n Titan twice a week, for 10 weeks. Maintain results by treating once every two weeks.

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛

I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the loss and illness that so many have experienced from C. It has been an extraordinarily hard two years for many, many people, for all sorts of different reasons and it is not my aim to diminish any of them. What I am trying to express is that we are at a breaking point societally.

If we continue to move forward with coercion, mandates, restrictions, and divisive passports based on fear (or a hope) then we risk setting precedents that we may not be comfortable leaning on in the future. We also risk dividing our society to such a degree that may make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever bring back together. Despite all of the debates, arguments, and comments made over the last few years, I do not believe that deep down Canadians want to live in a state of perpetual division.

If this is not the time to unite and end these mandates, when is? It is our systems that are broken, and they have been broken for a very long time. We all know this. Let's unite and fix them, and more together 💛

Creating our own peace ☮️

Nearing the end of 2021, one thing that Jer & I wanted to prioritize was creating our own peace. Life has been exhausting for the last long while and, like most people, our mental well-being suffered from the current state of Canada. We knew we needed to make some changes, add something to our lives to remove us (even temporarily, now and again) from the chaos that is now the “new normal”. So, we began making road trips around BC to find our very own home away from home. I feel immensely lucky to now have this remote sanctuary in our lives. It is somewhere we can go when life gets too overwhelming, somewhere we could live eventually if life continues to be overwhelming. In just the first few days here, I’ve already felt a shift in my mindset. I feel incredibly lucky to have this place and already it feels like home. 💖
✨Growing pains✨ . . . 2021, for many of us, w ✨Growing pains✨
. . .
2021, for many of us, was a year of growth. Some of it was painful, most of it inspiring, and all of it necessary. Sometimes growing means needing to shed the older versions of ourselves and sometimes that can be difficult or cause a loss in friendships or relationships. It can be challenging - believe me, I get it. But, anything or anyone who couldn't respect your growth then won't respect your future growth. While growth can be painful it is not nearly as painful as the dull consistent ache of feeling stuck.
