Glowy Foundation Routine

I may have mentioned this before (no, I’ve definitely mentioned it like a million times – sorry for my repetition 🙁 ) but I typically don’t wear foundation. I will go days, weeks, months, sometimes even years (no, not actually – just days) completely makeup-free. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a go-to foundation look. When I go out and want to look a bit more put together and glam, I have found myself turning to this super glowy foundation routine.   Glowy Foundation Routine, too faced born this way foundation, canadian beauty blog, canadian beauty youtube Glowy Foundation Routine, too faced born this way foundation, canadian beauty blog, canadian beauty youtube

Defying Expectations

While I like matte foundations, I find satin finish and hydrating foundations appear more natural and are more forgiving on my skin. Since I have dry-prone skin, matte foundations can sometimes make my skin appear even drier than it actually is. The Too Faced Born this Way Foundation has a very natural, radiant finish and is medium to full coverage. It’s surprisingly comfortable and lightweight feeling when applied, and it even feels somewhat hydrating on my skin.   Glowy Foundation Routine, too faced born this way foundation, canadian beauty blog, canadian beauty youtube

Application Process for My Glowy Foundation Makeup Routine

One I’ve applied the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation, it’s then time to highlight! I first go in with the Farsali Jellybeam highlighter. This is a jelly formula and I’ve found it’s easiest to blend this highlighter out with your fingers. To really amplify that glow, I then go in with the Smashbox Spotlight Palette. I use the lightest shade to highlight over the cheekbones, nose, and cupids bow.   Glowy Foundation Routine, too faced born this way foundation, canadian beauty blog, canadian beauty youtube Glowy Foundation Routine, too faced born this way foundation, canadian beauty blog, canadian beauty youtube

Single-use items are used for a short time, but they have a lasting impact on our environment. I believe nature is sacred and we need to cherish it, support it, and respect it. That’s why when I go on a hike I always make sure to bring my reusable water bottle.

Carrying a reusable water bottle is a simple Superhabit that you can implement anywhere you go! So this summer stay hydrated and stay environmentally responsible with a reusable water bottle! #WhatsYourSuperhabit

I love heading outdoors with a few delicious treats and soaking up some sunshine. Picnicking in a responsible and environmentally conscious way is really important to me and that’s why I implement easy Superhabits - like using reusable containers, water bottles, and glassware - whenever I head outdoors.

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛
