When it comes to taking care of your skin, it’s often forgotten to actually take care of the skin on your body. We so often talk about face skincare that we neglect the skin that covers the rest of our body. Today I am sharing a few skincare products I’ve been using lately to take care of my skin below the neckline.

To grab a few body care items, I went onto iHerb and ordered a ton of Aveeno body care products. Of course, I also indulged in my other beauty addiction: Hair care! So, I also grabbed a few Aveeno hair care products. iHerb is a super convenient website filled with tons of great health and lifestyle items, including over 80 Aveeno products which can actually be shipped to over 160 countries. I also found their customer service team to be extremely helpful when I reached out to ask them more about shipping, and I found out that they actually offer customer support in 10 languages to best serve their international shoppers.

Head to Toe Beauty with Aveeno

During the summer, my skin is pretty balanced so I can get away with using light moisturizers, but come fall – it’s time to switch up my skincare and go for heavier and more intensely hydrating products. Aveeno has such great soothing skincare, and I have always been a fan of Aveeno body butters, liquid soaps, and bath products.

My Aveeno haul included 6 items, which were:

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Creamy Moisturizing Oil
Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Moisturize Shampoo
Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Strengthen, Conditioner
Aveeno, Active Naturals, Positively Nourishing, Cocoa + Shea Butters, Whipped Souffle
Aveeno, Active Naturals, Soothing Bath Treatment
Aveeno, Active Naturals, Stress Relief Body Wash

Bodycare

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Creamy Moisturizing Oil

The Aveeno, Active Naturals, Creamy Moisturizing Oil is a hydrating body lotion that has Natural Colloidal Oatmeal and Pure Oat Oil in it. This Dermatologist-approved lotion is supposed to lightly moisturize the body and lock in that moisture all day long. This lotion has a super light and soft fragrance that dissipates after an hour or so. It is a particularly great lotion to use on the go during the winter because you don’t need to wait to have the lotion absorb in before getting dressed, and it’ll keep your skin feeling smooth and healthy even in the cold wintery weather.

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Positively Nourishing, Cocoa + Shea Butters, Whipped Souffle

For intense hydration, I love body butters. This Aveeno, Active Naturals, Positively Nourishing, Cocoa + Shea Butters, Whipped Souffle sounded super decadent and moisturizing so I decided to try it out. I absolutely love this Aveeno Positively Nourishing, Cocoa + Shea Butter – it smells amazing, is formulated with Active Naturals Colloidal Oatmeal, is super heavy and really helps soothe and soften my dry skin. I find in the winter I often need more intense body care because my skin does become so dry, and this body butter is totally remedying that.

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Soothing Bath Treatment

Durig the winter, is there anything more relaxing than a warm bath, a great book, and a glass of wine? I think not. I love unwinding after a busy day by treating myself to a spa-like bath, and I am a huge fan of bath treatments, salts, and bombs. The Aveeno, Active Naturals, Soothing Bath Treatment is perfect for those who struggle with dry, itchy, or irritated skin as it’s formulated with 100% Skin-soothing natural colloidal oatmeal. Since my skin does get dry during the winter, a bath treatment that aims to soothe and hydrate skin is something I really value. You can actually also use this bath treatment to soothe other irritations such as insect bites, and eczema.

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Stress Relief Body Wash

Another body care item I decided to grab was the Aveeno, Active Naturals, Stress Relief Body Wash. I have used Aveeno body washes for years, but as soon as I saw “Stress Relief” I thought – yep, I could use that! This moisturizing body wash is great for those with dry skin, and those who are total stress-cadets. This body wash also contains skin-soothing oatmeal and is scented with calming lavender and chamomile. What I like most about this body wash is that it’s hypoallergenic so it’s great for sensitive skin types.

Haircare

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Moisturize Shampoo

Aveeno shampoos were some of the first haircare that I ever used going into my teens. I remember wanting something more “grown-up” to use on my hair, and my mum recommended I used Aveeno. Since then I have used Aveeno haircare on and off, and more recently tried the Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Moisturize Shampoo. This shampoo is formulated for dry hair-types, which is my hair type! I have naturally dry unruly hair, and add to that a little bleach and you get yourself a parched mess! Aveeno Nourish+Moisturize Shampoo is a very creamy shampoo that helps add moisture into your hair while cleansing it of unwanted dirt and oils. It is infused with Hydrating Oat Protein and Nourishing Wheat Complex, which is an exclusive Active Naturals formula that is actually scientifically proven to nourish dry, damaged hair – who knew! You’re supposed to see the full effects of this shampoo after three washes, but honestly, even after one time I noticed a huge difference in the softness of your hair. It was exactly what I needed last week while I was attending all those blog events and putting my hair through heat-tool torture!

Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Strengthen, Conditioner

To pair with my shampoo, I decided to grab the Aveeno, Active Naturals, Nourish+Strengthen Conditioner.  This conditioner is formulated with a Nourishing Wheat Complex for dry, damaged hair (ie. my hair), is Dermatologist recommended, and aims to hydrate your hair. This is a great daily conditioner for dry damaged hair because it’s not too heavy, but it’s heavier than just your average daily conditioner. It’s super hydrating, but it won’t leave your hair feeling heavy or weighed down.
