Reading Time: 3 minutes I recently had the joy of being invited to check out Holt Renfrew’s new Beauty Hall. For the last couple of years, Holt Renfrew has been my go-to for a few of my absolute favorite beauty products, so I was thrilled when they invited me to see their new glamorous set-up. About Holt Renfrew: Celebrating a 180- year heritage, Holt Renfrew is recognized worldwide for an inspired shopping experience. Founded in 1837 as a modest hat shop, Holt Renfrew would soon become a purveyor of fashion to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. In the 1930’s Holt Renfrew began to establish exclusive accounts with leading European designers, hosting Monsieur Christian Dior himself in 1947 as he launched his “New Look”. After many years of foreign ownership, Holt Renfrew was acquired in 1986 by W. Galen and the Hon. Hilary M. Weston. Under Weston ownership Holt Renfrew has become Canada’s destination for luxury retail. Learn more and shop their Beauty Hall here! Holt Renfrew has been Canada’s luxury specialty retailer since 1837, and they recently unveiled an expansive and luxurious new home for beauty in its Vancouver flagship location. The new home for their beauty hall is located on the ground level, spans 16,000 square feet, and features 29 beauty counters. The 29 counters each represent a luxurious brand of either luxury cosmetics, skincare, or fragrances. A few of these brands include: Amore Pacific Bobbi Brown, By Killian, Chanel Chantecaille, Charlotte Tilbury, Christian Louboutin, Cle de Peau, and many more. PS… If you’re on the hunt for a new scent then be sure to drop by the Jo Malone counter to smell the Nectarine Blossom & Honey perfume – it’s simply amazing! Also located in the beauty hall is a set of nine private beauty cabins where (by appointment) you can enjoy pampering facials, treatments, and skincare rituals. Who doesn’t love to shop and pamper all in the same day? Each of the counters has its own unique identity showcased through its decor. Some are sleek and simple, while others are feminine and whimsical. The entire interior of the store was designed by the New York based architects Janson Goldstein. The space is filled with soft natural light due to the large skylight which makes it easy to find makeup in colours that are “true to you’. Don’t you hate when you buy makeup only to find out it looks completely different in the daylight? Well, that won’t happen at Holt Renfrew’s Beauty Hall.
