Last weekend, Jer & I went to the Sunshine Coast for Thanks Giving. It was the perfect little getaway to get a little R&R. And it was smart that we snuck that little relax time in because boy, has this week felt crazy busy! It felt like once I get home I am immediately on my way out again. All this busyness means that at times I feel like I am battling the clock and leaving myself with little time to actually get ready. I hate being late. When I feel I am in a time crunch I usually end up running around like a chicken without it’s head. Before, these moments would mean that I would end up leaving the house looking as frazzled as I felt. But, over the last few years I’ve made a point to uncover tricks that help me look my best whether I have 10 minutes to get ready or an entire hour. Click through today to learn how to look great when you’re running late!
Style in a Rush || How to Look Great when Running Late
1. Learn to LOVE your Messy Hair
2. Find your Perfect Red lipstick, and Keep it on Hand
3. Mix Classics Styles with Modern Pieces
4. Add on Dainty Accessories
5. Go with a Timeless Handbag

You are always such an inspiration when it comes to outfit styling. I couldn't agree more with your tips. Bold lip colors make you look put-together and awake. When I need a fail-safe outfit, a crisp white blouse and jeans will always do the trick!

I love that bag!! And the trees in the background are so beautiful, I do love the Fall! 😀
And I think your hair looks amazing, when mine is all gross its greasy, haha. And since it's straight if I keep it in a bun for a while it gets these horrible gross "waves" that I used to like, haha

I should've wrote in a greasy hair tip too! I at times struggle with that as well, though my hair is more dry/knotted prone. When my hair is on the oily-side though I like to turn to hair donuts. I think a slicked back bun can look really pretty and ballerina-inspired. If you want to elevate it too you can always take a piece of hair and do a small braid to wrap around the base of the bun! 🙂
awesome 😉
i invite to me too

I couldn't agree more with these tips, especially the red lip. I find that I instantly feel more put together when I add a swipe of a bold lipstick.
Have a great weekend!
