Reading Time: 3minutes
Lately, life has been a little hectic. Well, more than a little. I’ve done that terrible thing: I’ve bitten off more than I can chew and I’ve been feeling stressed overall. The holidays are a busy time for everyone, and it’s easy to take on more work than you can really manage – and that’s where I’ve found myself. I’m not trying to complain – I feel really lucky to have the opportunities that have come my way – but stressful busy times mean that some things need to be left at the sides for a bit.
One of those things is fussy fashion. While I am really not about fussy styles to begin with, when I am busy it’s truly the last thing I want to deal with. I want styles that I love to wear, that are comfortable, that can go from a blog event to dinner with my husband, to a collaboration meeting.
While this outfit may not be “office-friendly”, it is an outfit that I find myself turning to more and more in order to achieve a stylish look while not sacrificing comfort or practicality for my lifestyle. For the last few years, crop-tops have kind of become my go-to style. I love pairing them with high waisted jeans and pants, and this Wrap City Plunging Crop Top from Tobi has quickly become one of those crop-tops that I reach for frequently.
While I would say I typically dress quite conservatively, this long sleeve plunging-v-neckline crop top has made it into my favourites this fall. I love how soft the fabric is, the dove-grey colour, and the fact that it has a bit of that “sass” to it. All I can say is: I don’t like it. I love it, love it, love it, love it!
