I’ve always loved jumpsuits. In-fact, even when I was just 13 years old I owned a few. Mind you, they were corduroy and definitely not the most flattering of fits; but style mishaps aside, jumpsuits have always remained on my radar as pieces that can be worn for both practicality and also as a statement piece.
One-pieces proved to be some of my favourite pieces over my last holiday and the summer too; nothing was more effortlessly chic and thoughtless than slipping on a cute jumpsuit or romper. In-fact, even Jer noticed how much I had taken to rompers and now even points them out when we shop together saying “You should grab that for our next vacation!”
Aside from the ease of a simple jumpsuit or romper, I also have always been a fan of retro-inspired style. Anything that has a hippie-edge or a bohemian vibe to it is usually something that I gravitate to; from bell-bottoms to jumpsuits to oversized floppy hats and high-waist bikinis – I love it all. What can I say, I think I was born in the wrong decade!
