I’ve mentioned this before (and I’ll probably mention it again) but I love brunch. Regardless of how tired or busy I get, brunch is always on the menu over the weekend. I just don’t think anything beats a brunch with friends and mimosas.
Last Sunday, I indulged in my favourite mid-morning pastime with one of my oldest and dearest friends (seriously, we met when we were two and I may have made her eat a mud pie – how evil!) at the Score. While she opted for the traditional morning mimosa, I decided instead to try out their famous Caesar – which was just as delicious as rumoured.
For my little brunch meet-up, I decided to go for a “comfort meets style” look with my laid-back leather pants paired with a more prim and polished peter-pan collared blouse. These sorts of styles are ones I’ll always gravitate to because I so believe that style and comfort shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. Especially during the weekends, I love to keep my style simple and easy so I can spend less time adjusting and worrying and more time having fun.
On route to brunch, I spotted this delightful little blue house that was just too perfect to not snap a few photos in-front of. In a city filled with sleek glass buildings, finding a pretty little house like this is rare and calls to for a kodak moment. I love spotting these hidden gems here in Vancouver.
