Flu season is rough you guys.
I used to get the flu pretty much every single year, but in the last few years, I’ve been getting better at listening to my body, slowing down, and taking the steps needed to kick whatever cold I have before it turns into a knock-out flu.
I used to be so go-go-go all the time that anytime I’d get a small cold, I knew it was only a matter of time before it really hit me and made me so sick that I’d be MIA for weeks.
Anyways, this year I’ve had a few minor colds (dealing with one currently – annoying) and I wanted to share the one thing that really makes me feel so much better and healthier. Of course, this isn’t the be-all cure-all but it does help soothe sore throats and coughs and just give your immune system a little boost.
My husband is actually the one who introduced me to this tea. He began making this years ago whenever he felt a cold come on (which for him is very rare) and when he met me (always used to catch colds and flus) he began making it for me throughout the fall and winter months.
Over the years, this immune system boosting tea has become a tea I actually really love and enjoy. It’s seriously so flavourful. So, even if you’re not sick and you’re just looking for something yummy (and a little spicy) to sip then be sure to try this recipe out!
