For quite sometime, I’ve heard and read that Korean skincare (also known as “K-Beauty”) is a must try. While I’ve tried a product here and there, I’ve actually never had the opportunity to try a whole bunch of K-Beauty masques and skincare, so when Peach and Lily offered to send me some Korean skincare products I jumped at the opportunity.
The first thing we did was assess my skin. I let Peach and Lily know that I really struggle with dry skin, especially during the cooler months.
I also mentioned though that my skin is incredibly sensitive, and heavy products do make my skin break out.
So based on my skincare concerns, they put a little skincare gift pack together for me to try. To learn more about the products I received and see my full review, scroll down!

Shangpree S-ENERGY FACIAL MOUSSE CLEANSER
The first product I was lucky enough to try was the S-Energy Facial Mousse cleanser. This cleanser is described as a “gentle, bubbly cleanser that won’t dry out your skin after washing your face” – and that is exactly what it is.
Unlike many cleansers I have tried, this cleanser really did clean my face without leaving it feeling striped, tight, or dry. I have always been hit or miss with cleansers, so finding one that really did clean my skin without causing dryness was a huge win for me.
Cremorlab HERB TEA PURE CALMING MASK
If you follow me on snapchat or instagram, you likely know already how much I love sheet masks. To me, they are like bringing the spa home.
While I have always liked sheet masks, one thing I have found with them is that occassionally they can almost be too hydrating and cause my skin to break out.
The Creamorlab Herb Tea Pure Calming Mask is a antioxidant rich mask with tea extracts that is supposed to soothe and detox the skin.
When I put the mask on, it had a really soft cooling feeling on my skin that I really enjoyed. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes (as noted on the package) and when I removed the mask I was thrilled with how clear, smooth, and glowy my skin appeared.
In addition, my skin felt incredibly soft and I noticed that all my usual dry areas appeared to be smoothed and hydrated. I have to say, I love this mask and for me – it’s a total must-try.
TONY MOLY PANDA’S DREAM EYE PATCH
The cutest skincare product I was sent was definitely the Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Eye Patch. When applied, I felt like the panda filter on snapchat. I thought it would be a really great product for a gift, and in particular I thought it would be fun to give in bridesmaids gift bags (can you tell I’ve got weddings on my brain?).
I had actually heard of this product before, and had read really great reviews so my hopes and expectations were really high for these eye patches.
If you watch my youtube video “Testing out Korean Skincare Products” than you likely saw what a huge difference these patches made on my eyes.
I quite honestly was floored by how awake and bright they made my under eyes appear, and now these patches are going to definitely be a must-have for me.
LAGOM CELLUS MILD MOISTURE CREAM
The final product I tried out was the Lagom Cellus Mild Moisture Cream. This was the only product that I tried and felt as though it could break out my skin. It’s described as a “light cream that sinks in quickly, delivers moisture deep into the skin cells, and is rich in hazel extract”.
I would say that this isn’t what I would consider a mild or light moisturizer. It felt a bit heavy on my skin, and it did take quite a bit of time for it to fully absorb into my skin. I felt like this product was best used right before bed so that it had hours to really absorb in.
