Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review

Reading Time: 3 minutesLancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review About a month ago, I was sent the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara. I never like to open a new mascara before finishing the one I am currently using, so I waited a few weeks to finish up my previous tube before diving into trying the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara. But, if I had known how much I was going to love this mascara – I would’ve just gone ahead and tossed the other one on the spot.

Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review

On the Sephora website:  The Monsieur Big Mascara features a large brush and an ultra-creamy formula that glides onto lashes like silk and delivers up to 12 times the volume with up to 24 hours of wear. Ideal for all-day wear, this mascara doesn’t require touch-ups and doesn’t flake or smudge. This brush’s unique shape features soft, wavy fibers to deliver the perfect amount of formula with the very first stroke. This ultra-creamy formula has supple waxes and polymers to adhere immediately to lashes for big, buildable volume and length.

Lancome Mascara Before and After

Now, if you know me then you know I LOVE big lashes. I personally am not afraid of somewhat “clumpy” lashes if my lashes look extra long and thick. With the Monsieur Big Mascara focusing so much on volumizing, I knew that I was likely going to be a huge fan of this mascara. I also typically apply a few coats of mascara to create the look I really want, but the Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara is such an intense formula that you truly just need 1 coat to get the results shown below. Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review One thing I will say about this mascara though is that it can look clumpy easily, so if you’re someone who really dislikes clumpy lashes then you may find the formula and applicator brush to not be for you. The only way to avoid obvious clumping is by really scraping the applicator brush before going in and applying your mascara.
On Sephora’s website: Research results: In a consumer panel survey on 110 participants: – 95% felt that it glides easily onto lashes – 95% find that it’s comfortable to wear all day long – 92% found the colour of the mascara very dark/intense – 91% felt that it made their eyes look bigger – 90% felt that it really lengthened their lashes
Overall, I completely agree with the research results provided on the Sephora website. This mascara glides on super easily, it’s totally comfortable to wear, the colour is a deep rich black, and this mascara definitely does make your eyes look larger by really lengthening and defining lashes. Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review Cost: $31.00 The cost of this mascara is high in my opinion. While it’s a great mascara that I really enjoy, the price tag is a bit steep for my liking. Summary: To summarize, I really love this mascara. I would say it’s one of my top 5 favourites. The formula is great, and it truly does lengthen and add volume to my lashes. My only concern with this mascara is how it can appear very clumpy. While that may not be an issue for me, I know many people avoid the clumpy-lash look and would feel disappointed by that if they paid the luxury price of $31.00. Since I don’t mind a bit of a clumpy lash though, I have found myself reaching for this mascara daily. I have received tons of comments on how long my lashes look, and even had one person ask if I got lash extensions. So, if you’re not afraid of a slightly thicker lash than I think you should give this mascara a whirl!

The price is steep, but it looks pretty! I also admit, I think that the name is just so cute.

I’m not super big on clumpy mascara so this might not be for me, buttttt I’ve heard so many other people in beauty say good things about it. Really tempting to try out. Thanks for sharing, Bree! 🙂

Single-use items are used for a short time, but they have a lasting impact on our environment. I believe nature is sacred and we need to cherish it, support it, and respect it. That’s why when I go on a hike I always make sure to bring my reusable water bottle.

Carrying a reusable water bottle is a simple Superhabit that you can implement anywhere you go! So this summer stay hydrated and stay environmentally responsible with a reusable water bottle! #WhatsYourSuperhabit

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛
