Love the look of high end makeup but hate the cost? Today, I am sharing a few of my favourite Makeup Dupes so you can have your makeup, and money too!
I love a good deal! I mean, who doesn’t?
But seriously, when I find a product, article of clothing, hell – even a coupon for a regular grocery item – I am jazzed.
Finding makeup dupes for high-end beauty products though makes me excited on a whole other level – like a jump up, dance around in circles whilst screaming (or squealing?) in an annoyingly high pitch tone.
In today’s video, I am sharing a few seriously amazing dupe products that you need to add to your beauty routine. If you enjoy this video, and you’d like to see more posts like this then be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel. I post twice weekly and I would absolutely be thrilled to have your support.
Makeup Dupes: Drugstore Vs. High-End
Products Mentioned:
High-End Makeup Products:
Too Faced Born this Way Foundation
This foundation is one of my very favourite foundations. I am typically not a full-coverage sort of girl, but this foundation is my exception.
I love how flawless this foundation makes my skin look while also feeling quite comfortable on my skin. This foundation has a very radiant, satin/skin-like texture that looks quite natural even though it gives you a fuller coverage finish.
ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
The ABH Modern Renaissance Palette was the first ABH product I purchased and it really made me fall in love with the brand. This range of shadows are all so beautiful, wearable, buildable, and romantic.
Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer
A great concealer is an essential for me. I have quite a bit of darkness under my eyes (and in my inner eye corner) so I need a concealer that will really cover those up.
I love this concealer because while it absolutely covers any darkness, it doesn’t end up looking thick or heavy under the eyes. It applies really beautifully and stays looking great throughout the day.
Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara
The Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara has been one of my favourite mascaras for quite some time now. It makes your lashes look ultra long, lush, and full which I am all about.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer is a great matte-brown bronzer. I love that it doesn’t have any orange-tone in it, or any sparkle. It’s one of my favourite products to use for contouring.
Benefit Coralista Blush
Benefit’s Coralista blush was a major cult favourite back in the day, and it is still one of my favourite blushes. I love coral tones, and I adore that this blush has a beautiful golden shift to it. It looks great during the spring and summer months especially.
Cover fx Highlighting Drops
If you like a blinding highlight, then you’ll love the Cover FX Highlighting Drops. These drops give you a seriously dramatic and bold glow. I personally love the shade celestial, but you really can’t go wrong with any shade – they are all gorgeous.
Benefit Gimme Brow Gel
Day to day, I am a minimalist when it comes to my brows. I tend to just swipe on some brow gel and call it a day. The Benefit Gimme Brow Gel in the shade 4.5 Deep Neutral Brown has been my go-to for quite some time. It adds a bit more fullness to your brows without all the work and effort that actually goes into filling in your brows.
Tarte Liquid Lipstick in Birthday Suit
One of the prettiest liquid lipsticks I own is Tarte’s liquid lipstick in Birthday Suit. This matte liquid lipstick is the prettiest pink-peach shade and it’s just a great go-to for daily wear.
High-End Makeup Dupes:
Maybelline Superstay Foundation
This foundation is a slightly more matte version of the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation, but the coverage and feel of it is quite similar. This foundation gives you a lot of coverage without using a lot of product which means you don’t feel like your skin is weighed down with makeup.
To easily get a more radiant finish to this foundation, use a radiant primer, and use other cream-based products. I’ve found that layering cream/dewier products over this foundation really balances the look of the matte foundation.
I also recommend you get a shade slightly lighter than you expect with this foundation as it does oxidize.
Reloaded Palette Iconic Vitality
The Makeup Revolution Reloaded Palette Iconic Vitality is pretty much an exact dupe for the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette. This palette is great and I use it all the time. The colours take a bit more time to build and blend, but overall it’s very comparable.
NYX HD Concealer Wand
The NYX HD Concealer Wand is an excellent concealer. It’s slightly more dry than the Laura Mercier formula, but it gives you great coverage and it’s very long-wearing.
Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara
One of the BEST mascaras out there is the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara. This mascara is no joke. It builds your lashes up to look long, full, and gorgeous.
NYX Matte Bronze
The NYX Matte Bronzer isn’t the perfect dupe for the Hoola Bronzer, but it is a great affordable bronzer. It’s a bit more warm-toned, so I don’t recommend you contour with this but it will add a beautiful warm bronze to your skin if you’re looking for a softer sunkissed look.
Milani Luminoso Blush
Milani’s Baked Blush in Luminoso is one of my all-time favourite blushes. Not just a favourite from the drugstore – a favourite, period. This blush has a bright sweet peachy-coral tone to it with a beautiful golden shift. It is my go-to blush during the spring and summer.
Makeup Revolution Highlighting Drops
The Makeup Revolution Highlighting Drops were absolutely intended to be a dupe for the Cover FX drops, and overall I’d say they did a good job. I have found that these can separate and get a bit oily, so make sure you shake them before using them – otherwise, the oil may make your foundation separate.
The drops will give you that beaming highlight look that the Cover FX drops give, but these have slightly more glitter.
Burts Bees Natural Brow Pencil
This is obviously not an exact dupe for the Gimme Brow Gel since it isn’t a gel at all, but it’s an excellent affordable brow product that is worth mentioning. This pencil glides onto your brows easily, so you don’t need to work the product in order to get it to actually apply.
Maybelline Ink Liquid Lip in Loyalist
Maybelline’s Ink Liquid Lipsticks have been extremely popular, and I can see why. They are long-wearing and comfortable. The shade Loyalist, in particular, is quite pretty and a good dupe for Tarte’s liquid lip in Birthday Suit.

This is awesome! The finished look is so similar! I mainly like high end products because of the packaging. I find drugstore quality getting better and better!
