1. NARS mini blush & bronzer duo 2. Elf Essential Eyeliner 3. Real Techniques Core 4 Set 4. Baby Lips 5. Maybelline Rocket Lash Mascara
When you’re starting your makeup kit you want to begin with the essentials – mascara, lip balms, liquid eyeliner, a blush + bronzer duo &, of course, a starter brush set. If you’re already a make-up pro than this list is likely not for you. This list is set up for all the ladies out there who are just beginning to get into the fun & frilly world of beauty, and are looking to build up a versatile but basic beauty bag.
For most products I believe you can find great quality items at a low cost but when it comes to items that sit on your skin all day, everyday I always think it’s important to really spend the time, effort, energy and (yes, sometimes) the money to finding the right product for you. I have particularly sensitive skin so many bronzers & blushes just do not work on me. I have personally found that NARs blushes & bronzers sit on my sensitive skin very well & have never caused irritation which is why I’d consider them a great no fuss, no muss starter kit product. You also always want to purchase quality brushes. These brushes will touch your skin everyday and if they are made from irritating fibres than they can really irritate your skin.
All the other products on this board are drugstore items & are all very affordable. If you follow me via Twitter or Instagram then chances are you already know what a fan I am over the Baby Lips line by Maybelline. These lip-balms have great pigmentation, are completely wearable and so soothing to dry lips – and on top of all that they are incredibly inexpensive!
