Mothers day in just around the corner, and it’s time to get thinking about what to gift to the most important, most inspiring, and most loving people in our lives. When I was a kid, I would search high and low in our house, find something I thought was pretty and wrap it up for my mum. She would unwrap the gift to find her own well used pink nail polish along with a homemade card. That was sweet when I was six, but now I like to surprise her with something that she’ll love, use, and that wasn’t found in her beauty bin (still along with a homemade card though!)
My mum and I are really close, and I’ve always considered her my best friend, so shopping for her is a lot of fun. I always know whatever catches my eye typically would catch hers as well. She’s a fan of skincare, she loves beauty product, she’s a total fashionista, and (just like me) she loves her coffee. Knowing all of that, I came up with a little list of items I just know she’d love, and maybe your mums would love too! Click through to see my mothers day gift list!
Nomad Coffee: Who doesn’t love to wake up and smell the coffee? One thing my mum & I do often is go for coffee. We both are coffee fiends, and that’s why I know she’d love Nomad Coffee. After recently discovering Nomad coffee, I’ve been really excited about their subscription and gifting plans. Nomad allows you to either purchase a gift package, or you can invest in a longer-term subscription which will send your loved one a new coffee monthly. For the gift package, you send a personalized email message and they’re able to redeem their gift online. See my full review here (and grab the discount code for your purchase!)
Fresh Lychee Sugarbath: After a stressful week, there’s no better way to relax than with a soothing bubble bath. Fresh Lychee Sugarbath is a great gift choice for the mum’s that need a bit of “me time”. My mum is always on the go, and so I think treating her to a little relaxation is not only a great gift, it’s a needed one!
Fresh Lotos Youth Preserver: Fresh skincare is my favourite line to keeping my skin feeling great, and funny enough – it’s also my mums! One of my favourite products is Fresh Lotos Youth Preserver, I use it nightly to combat fine lines and dryness – and since this is one of the few Fresh products my mum has yet to try, I thought I’d pick her up a bottle for Mothers Day! Fresh Lotos Youth Preserver is a very lightweight moisturizer; I like to use it at night so it can absorb in while I sleep.
Hello Hair Masque: Everyone loves healthy hair – but sometimes the usual deep conditioners and treatments don’t quite do the trick. Hello Hair blew me away with how quickly it made my hair feel healthy, smooth, and soft – and after hearing my mum mention that her hair was on the dry-side lately too, I thought it would be great to grab her a Hello Hair Masque pack. You can read my full review on Hello Hair Hydrating Island Edition Mask here!
Essie Nail Polishes: Spring is here, and Summer is well on its way – and for me, that means mixing up my beauty a bit. My mum sticks to a few of her tried and true favourites, but her nail polish bin is always open for a few more options. Two of my favourite neutral polishes for spring and summer has to be Essie’s Topless & Barefoot and Coconuts & Cocktails, they are both beautiful polishes that apply easily (from my experience, only two coats is needed for a fully opaque colour!)
