Mott and Bow sent these jeans to me a while ago. I was not obligated to write a blog post – I just wanted to because I like these jeans!New year, new jeans. Wait, isn’t that how the saying goes? I know, I know – the saying is “new year, new you” but I really wanted some new jeans so… whatever. Something that’s not really a resolution for 2019, but is something I would like to start doing more often is getting ready in the mornings. If you don’t work from home then you won’t get this: but working from home means you also work, live, answer the door – everything – in your pjs. And, it can bring your entire mood down. At first, it’s like: sweet, I get to be chill in my pjs! And then all of a sudden it’s like: wait – how does one look presentable? Sure, I cherish that I can have pj days, but it doesn’t mean I want them to become my Monday – Friday uniform. I used to live in jeans. I loved them. I would’ve considered myself a denimaholic because I just loved a good pair of jeans so much. I realized though since working from home I have reserved my favourite pairs of jeans for the weekends – which is something I didn’t want to do any longer. Instead, I wanted a pair of stylish and professional jeans that I could wear at home, run errands in, head to meetings in, and wear comfortably for everything else in between. Mott and Bow “orchard jeans” are probably the most effortlessly stylish and comfortable jeans I’ve ever worn. They are a super soft and super stretchy jean. They feel more like leggings than jeans honestly! I love that they aren’t just a simple black jean but instead a more grunge-style deep grey colour and I personally am a big fan of jeans that hit just above the ankle – I think it makes the jeans really work so well with ankle boots.
