Recently, NYX sent me 22 of their Pin Up Pout Lipsticks. I was immediately excited to try them all out and I thought it would be a ton of fun to try them out together. I am a lipstick fiend and was super excited to share my thoughts with you. So, if you’re on the hunt for a new lipstick then scroll through to see the swatches and read my full review! (PS. NYX Pin Up Pout Review
The texture and formula of these lipsticks is very comfortable. This lipstick almost feels like a balm because they are so lightweight and comfortable. For the most part, the formula is also consistently non-patchy, though there are a few shades that are slightly more patchy/ difficult to apply (Fiery, Cocktail Hour, and True Vixen specifically.

Silk is a really beautiful colour, though it is extremely light and definitely not a colour that can be worn by all. I would describe silk as a very light peach.
Corset is a gorgeous pink toned brown lipstick. It has a mauve/dusty rose undertone to it. This is my ideal nude lipstick.
Sophisticated is a brown-peach lipstick colour. This is slightly darker, but still a very light nude tone.
Boundless is a beautiful pinky peach lipstick. It is slighter brighter and more “peppy” than the other shades mentioned above.
5. Almost Famous
Another favourite, Almost Famous is a gorgeous mauve/purple/pink toned lipstick. It’s gorgeous and super wearable. This colour is a bit darker and a bit more wearable for some darker skin tones.
I would describe this as a bubblegum pink. I personally am not a fan of these types of colours, but regardless of my personal colour preference, this colour still has a great formula and is very wearable.
Darling is a very sweet cool toned pink.
Fiery is a unique orange-red lipstick. It’s bright and bold. Unlike the other lipsticks though, Fiery was more challenging to apply. The colour didn’t initially want to transfer onto my lips and it took multiple swipes to get that full bright colour.
Lucy is a really pretty raspberry red. I was hoping it would be a true blue-toned red when I first saw the tube but it definitely wasn’t a true red. This raspberry red is very cute though and will look great around the holidays.
Bombshell is a stunning fuschia/magenta lipstick tone. It’s bright, bold, and fun.
11. Dance Party
Dance Party is a bright bubblegum pink. Again, this is not a colour I love – but the formula was consistent with the other lipsticks in this line and the colour applied very evenly.
12. Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is a wine toned lipstick. I really liked this colour, and in person, it didn’t look patchy but in photos, it definitely appears patchy. I think this colour would work best when applied over a lip pencil.
Resistance was one of my favourites, I love this colour! This colour is a warm mauve/plum toned brown and definitely gives me 90s feels. It’s a gorgeous grungy colour.
Individualistic is a deep orange-brown lipstick colour.
15. Rebel Soul
Rebel Soul is another colour that gives me 90s feels – it’s a brown-toned lipstick with a brighter red undertone to it. Again this colour has hints of mauve/plum in it.
Savage is a deep chocolate brown that is very warm and red-toned.
Revolution is another wine-toned lipstick. It’s brighter and more red than Cocktail Hour.
Flashy is a really bright and rich violet toned lipstick. It’s a beautiful colour, applies easily, and the formula is consistent with the others.
Wisteria is a beautiful and vibrant lilac shade. While it’s not the most wearable colour, it’s really pretty and bold.
20. Smoke Me
Smoke Me is a grey-lilac lipstick. The colour is extremely unique, and I absolutely love it. Again, this isn’t the most wearable colour, but I do think it would look amazing in a grey-toned makeup look. This lipstick applied very easily.
21. Wild Spirit
Wild Spirit is a bright and rich blue lipstick. This is definitely for those with a wild spirit since it’s definitely a more “out there” and bold colour. I love the idea of this lipstick being used in a Halloween makeup look.
22. True Vixen
The patchiest of the group was True Vixen. The colour swatch on the tube and lipstick itself both have a black-red tone to it, but as you can see – it’s definitely not a black-red lipstick. Instead it’s a deep and rich purple tone. The colour is pretty, but its extremely patchy and would need a lip pencil underneath to reduce the obvious patchiness of it.
