Coral is one of my favourite colours. It’s so fun, bright, and fresh looking.
When I heard Coral was the pantone color of the year 2019 I was pretty excited. I knew that meant that there would be lots of products coming out in beautiful shades of coral that I would have to scoop up and try.
While there will be lots of products coming out over the next few months, I wanted to share a few that I’ve been using and really enjoying. Some of these are newer products, and some are old favourites that just happen to be coral!
Pantone Color of the Year 2019: Coral
Clarins Glow 2 Go Blush and Highlighter Duo in Golden Peach
This Blush and Hightlighter duo has a beautiful coral blush on one end, and then a deep bronzy golden highlight on the other. The highlighter is too dark for my skintone, but it would look so stunning on deeper skintones. It has a really beautiful warm golden shift that really is just so stunning.
The blush side is the side I’ve been wearing, and it’s a deep yet bright and beautiful coral with small golden flecks. The gold isn’t super noticeable when it’s applied to the skin which I like because I don’t always want something super shimmery on my cheeks.
Stellar Beauty Blush in Flare
Another beautiful coral blush that I haven’t been able to get enough of is the Stellar Beauty Blush in Flare. This blush is so stunning and so luminous on the skin. In the pan you can tell it has some shimmer in it, but when it applies to your cheeks that shimmer becomes less sparkly and more of a…. stunning coral sheen on the cheeks. It’s gorgeous.
I would say though this blush can apply very intensely so use a light hand. (In good news though, that means you’ll be able to use less and really make this blush last a long, long, long time!)
VDL Blush in Odette
This VDL blush has been a favourite of mine for some time, and I wear it often. I don’t share it often though because it’s really hard to find online and can be a challenge to find it in stores. I always feel bad sharing products that aren’t easily available, but I have to share it this time.
This blush is stunning. It’s jelly-cream blush formula applies almost like a tint on your skin so it really looks so natural when applied. Unlike many makeup products, this blush really blends into the skin and looks as if it’s just your natural flush. I also would highly recommend this blush to those who have dry-prone skin types as it is a more moisturizing blush since it is a cream/jelly formula.
Shiseido Blush in Sonoya 01
Another beautiful coral blush is Shiseido’s whipped blush in Sonoya 01. This blush has been another one that I’ve found myself reaching for often.
Again, you only need a small amount of this blush and it’s very easy to go over board, but because you need so little this blush will last you quite a long time.
The colour of this blush is slightly more pink than the others, but it’s absolutely stunning for spring. It looks very fresh and lively
Daniel Sandler Blush in Passion
Lastly for blushes is Daniel Sandler’s Blush in Passion.
I am a huge fan of Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushes. They are quite liquidy which may be intimidating to use at first, but once you try it out, you’ll be hooked. These blushes apply and blend so beautifully on the skin.
They give you a stunning natural flush. Truly, when you apply these they just look like your skin but better.
The colour Passion is a mauve-pink-coral which is super wearable and natural looking on the skin.
Burts Bees Lipstick in Coral Cove
One of my favourite coral lipsticks of late has been Burts Bees Liquid Lipstick in Coral Cove.
Unlike many liquid lipsticks, this lipstick doesn’t dry down. Instead it applies super creamy and moisturizing and it stays that way.
I found I was able to wear it for about four hours without it fading majorly, and I found that it faded really naturally. It did leave a slight pretty tint on the lips, but it was quite faint.
This colour is a deeper reddish coral that is really vibrant yet super wearable. I love it!
Fresh Beauty Lip Treatment in Coral
Another super wearable lip colour is the Fresh beauty Lip Treatment in Coral. Now, if you’ve been following me for any length of time then you know: I’m obsessed with Fresh Beauty lip treatments. They are some of my most essential beauty favourites.
The coral shade is bright red-coral. While the colour is bright, it’s also super wearable on your lips. Because it’s a balm, its super comfortable and easy to reapply throughout the day.
Nude by Nature Pigment in Rose Sand
This pigment has been a favourite of mine for a while. It’s more of a pinky-beige-coral but it’s so beautifully bold and shiny when applied to the eye.
The applicator on this product isn’t exactly my favourite because it tends to puff-up the product and get it everywhere.
I would much prefer they just had it in a tub that you could dip your own brush into. But, it doesn’t deter me from using it! It’s just too pretty to not use.
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Essence Mist
I may be “cheating” a bit on these next two products because… No, they aren’t coral – but their packaging is!
The Rodial Face Mist has been one of my very favourite face mists this last year. I’ve used it many times and I just love how it quickly refreshes and rehydrates my skin.
The mist comes out extremely fine so you won’t find yourself with wet drops all over your face, instead it’ll just be a super fine veil of the mist.
Also, did I mention I love the packaging?
Dragon’s Blood Neck & Décolleté Sculpting Gel
The Rodial Neck Cream is a new addition to my beauty routine and you guys – I love it. I loved it so much that I went out and got one for my mom to try, too. We’re both total skincare addicts so you know, it only seemed right to get her one, too. (On a totally different note, I keep thinking it would be so great to get her on the UU from time to time to share her favourite products, too! Wouldn’t that be fun?)
Anyways, this Rodial Neck Cream is not coral, but the packaging is and I totally love the adorably bright coral package. The neck cream itself feels super luxurious and moisturizing on the skin. It’s more of a gel-cream texture which is what I prefer – I’m not as into super creamy heavy products.
I love how this product just glides onto the skin and makes it feel so soft, moisturized, and cared for.
I’ve been trying to get more into a self-care routine (a post on that is on route!) and I just find this part of my skincare routine really does just make me feel like I am taking the time to really care for myself.

I just ordered a handful of products from Stellar Beauty that I’m looking forward to trying! That blush is stunning, unfortunately I didn’t pick that up but maybe I will in the future if I’m happy with the products I did get!

I so agree with the watercolor blush! I tried it on a whim one time and absolutely loved it! Always my go-to now, and the color on this one is gorg
