Essie Penny Talk & Blue Rhapsody Review
I don’t know if I am the only one like this, but I just do not feel like my outfit is complete & styled if my nails aren’t done.
I am also the sort of girl who likes to change her nail polish a few times a week which means I am always looking for new shades to add to my polish collection.
Recently, I added two Essie nail polishes that I have been obsessed with: “Penny Talk” & “Blue Rhapsody“.
Essie Penny Talk
I love that they never look boringly flat because of how boldly metallic they are. Penny Talk is a beautiful Rose-Gold-tone which is such a beautiful colour for fall. And, even though it’s a bold metallic, it is still gorgeous for everyday and appropriate for work.
I’ve found myself wearing this nail polish most often because it is so great for all occasions. It’s a neutral shade which makes it really versatile and wearable.
Essie Blue Rhapsody
Next up is Essie’s Blue Rhapsody. This shade is much more out there & edgy. It’s eye-catching cool metallic blue which is great for an evening out.
Needless to say, these have been my go-to colours lately and I definitely think they’ll be my favourites for the long haul this fall and winter season.
These two polishes are both also super convenient as they only take one coat to be fully opaque. You do not need to do 3 coats to have these shades look even and great.
Also, there’s something about the formula of the metallic shades that makes them dry so much faster than their other polishes. It could be the fact that you don’t need as many coats, but even when I have done more than one coat (for long-lasting durability more than for an opaque and even finish) I’ve found that these dry super quickly.
If these aren’t your favourite shades, then no worries – Essie has lots of other metallic nail polishes to choose from!

They look amazing, love both! xo
Both have a nice finish 🙂
I like the blue one, but the other one just looks copper to me. My only gripe with essie is how small the bottles are. 😕 They are both really pretty and you have got nice nails. Mine crack easily so I'm really envious of yours!

I think they're both pretty and they look good on you. I bought something pretty similar to these but they're from Sally Hansen and in dark blue and maroon =)
I haven't tried Essie yet but I think that i may have to. Love those shades.

Both of these shades are absolutely gorgeous, love the shine they have!

Love both of these! I have a seriously large collection of polishes. And I totally agree- I feel naked if my nails aren't done. In fact, one time my husband commented on my nails not being painted. I immediately painted them. Can't wait to check these out!

Such pretty colors! I'm a chronic nail biter, so I almost always have polish on to dissuade my nibbling
oo Bree these are both stunning colours 🙂 may I ask you what what widget you use there at the bottom of your posts which displays the products? I think it is really useful yet I've no idea what to look for to find it, thank you!
