REDAVID Hair Care Review

If you’ve been following my blog for some time, then you likely know already how intense I am when it comes to my hair care. Blonde hair typically is damaged hair, and I go to every effort to try to keep my hair as healthy as possible even though I do bleach it every few months. I love deep conditioning treatments, will happily invest in higher end hair care products, and rarely use heat on the ends of my hair. Before my wedding, my pre-wedding hair care regime was so intense that I pretty much didn’t even plug in my straightening iron for about 2 months.

REDAVID Hair Care

On the REDAVID website, they say their Orchid Oil line helps to:
  • Controls frizz
  • Detangles
  • Adds radiant shine
  • Makes hair soft & manageable
  • Restores moisture to normal levels
  • Achieve faster blowouts
  • Makes hair stronger!
After my first use of this line, I knew that this hair care line was extremely impressive. My hair was in dire need of a haircut (I grew my hair out for my wedding and resisted getting a haircut until last week), yet somehow it felt and looked silky and soft. The impact on my hair was totally immediate.

After blow-drying my hair, I was even more impressed. Typically, my hair blow-dries pretty frizzily but I found my hair looked extremely silky. I applied the oil both before and after blow-drying my hair, and I found that it really made drying it straight a breeze. Even the ends of my hair (which desperately needed to be cut) looked softer and smoother overall. The shampoo, conditioner, and oil treatment all smell seriously incredible and are extremely fragranced. My husband said our entire home was perfumed with it, and we both LOVED the scent. The scent does soften after 30 mins – an hour, but immediately after washing and styling your hair, it smells so beautiful. (Almost, coconut-y?)

REDAVID Orchid Oil Shampoo Review

The Orchid Oil Shampoo gently cleans your hair. It doesn’t harsh cleanse or dry out your hair, instead, it just softly cleans your hair. The shampoo is quite thin (not liquidy though) and you really don’t need to use much of it to clean all your hair. My hair is long, and I only use a small quarter size amount to clean my scalp and hair.

REDAVID Orchid Oil Conditioner Review

The Orchid Oil Conditioner is super thick and hydrating. You again, don’t need much of the conditioner to fully saturate your hair ends. I always leave my conditioners in for a few minutes to really let them absorb in, and then I rinse it out. I found this instantly made my hair super silky and soft feeling.

REDAVID Orchid Oil Treatment Review

The Orchid Oil Treatment is a serum which you apply as your final hair care step. I loved it so much that I use it before I blow dry my hair, after I style my hair, before bed, and in the morning. A lot, right? The reason I do this is because I find it just adds an extra level of lustre to my hair. It makes it look so shiny and really makes it so soft. While I have found many products work well on my hair, I have really never found one that has awed me quite to the level that REDAVID hair care has. I truly feel like I have found my “holy grail” haircare line. I have been so impressed with how they have made my hair look and feel. Did you enjoy this post? Single-use items are used for a short time, but they have a lasting impact on our environment. I believe nature is sacred and we need to cherish it, support it, and respect it. That’s why when I go on a hike I always make sure to bring my reusable water bottle.

Carrying a reusable water bottle is a simple Superhabit that you can implement anywhere you go! So this summer stay hydrated and stay environmentally responsible with a reusable water bottle! #WhatsYourSuperhabit

“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛
