Fiend by Urban Decay is often described as a muted pink and though I would say that’s a fairly accurate description, I have actually also noticed that it can take a rich peach tone on my lips.
The formula is very creamy and has quite a bit of sheen to it. It’s the perfect lipstick to wear when your lips are on the dry side as it is surprisingly hydrating. It’s so hydrating in-fact, that I have left on a few occasion’s I’ve just left my chapstick at home and opted for this lipsticks instead. Typically I am not a huge fan of sheen finishes because I’ve found them sticky feeling before, so loving this lipstick as much as I do! The formula really surprised me as it wasn’t sticky or too slick and instead it was perfectly hydrating & creamy.
It only lasted around two hours on me so I would say this lipstick wears off relatively fast. If you’re looking for an 8 hour wear than chances are this isn’t for you. One aspect I did like about the wear-off was that as it did wear off it did not stain or become patchy.
Urban Decay lipsticks cost around $22.00 (depending on where you live) which is on the expensive side. Since I love this lipstick so much though I find the cost completely worth while.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now than chances are you’ve already caught on that I am totally lipstick obsessed. I love bold lips, I love bright lips, but what I really love has to be natural lips. Easy wearable colours always end up being my daytime go to so when I found Fiend by Urban Decay it felt as though I was finding my daytime “completer” piece. Since purchasing Fiend I have worn it nearly everyday & it has become a staple in my beauty regime. Urban Decay’s “Fiend” is one lip shade I never leave the house without because whether I’m at work, seeing friends or off to a date with J, this lipstick perfectly polishes off any look without the high maintenance of bold lip colours.
