The Schwarzkopf BLONDME Hair Care Line was sent to me in a PR package. This is not a paid sponsored post. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
Schwarzkopf BLONDME Hair Line
For the last 2-3 weeks, I’ve been trying out the Schwarzkopf BLONDME Hair Line in hopes of finding great and affordable hair care for blondes. I haven’t tried many Schwarzkopf products (aside from their hairspray a few years ago) so I was really excited to learn more about this brand.
Their BLONDME hair care line comes in 3 tones:
All Blondes
Cool Blondes
Warm Blondes.
Each line comes with a shampoo, conditioner, and serum.
The All Blondes line is an extended line that also comes with a cleansing shampoo and an Intense Care Bonding Potion. I received the “All Blonde” line (minus the cleansing shampoo and intense care bonding potion) to test out and here are my thoughts:
Schwarzkopf BLONDME Hair Line Review
Before we begin, I wanted to mention something I have found really annoying about a ton of hair care products, and that is the lids being a twist-off.
I prefer when lids are always attached and are easy to close and open with one hand. The fact is, once you pour some of the shampoo or conditioner into your hair, you need to close the bottle using the other hand.
Schwarzkopf BLONDEME Shampoo and Conditioner
With the Schwarzkopf BLONDEME shampoo and conditioner, I found that I often would drop the product while attempting to screw the lid back on.
This may not be a pet-peeve for everyone, but it’s a big no-no for me.
The REDAVID haircare line I recently reviewed (and am totally obsessed with) has a lid that you easily can open and close by simply pressing down on the front or back of the cap.
I much prefer that kind of packaging with hair care.
BLONDME Keratin Restore Bonding Shampoo
The shampoo in this line is definitely a more creamy and hydrating shampoo.
While it doesn’t leave your hair heavy, it also doesn’t dry your hair out at all which is great.
I didn’t actually find that this line “enhanced” my blonde hair colour much at all (like a purple shampoo would, for example) but I did find this to be a good shampoo. I would say that rather than it being geared solely towards blondes that it’s more a shampoo that would be great for dry or damaged hair types.
BLONDME Keratin Restore Bonding Conditioner
I really liked the conditioner for a daily conditioner.
It wasn’t super heavy, but I did find that it really added a lot of moisture back into my dry and frizz-prone hair.
I also quite liked the smell of this conditioner, it was somewhat sweet and bright but not overpowering.
BLONDME Shine Elixir
The most intriguing product from this line to me was definitely the Shine Elixir.
I love shiny hair and since I often find that my hair takes to a more dull and dry look, I was excited to try the BLONDME Shine Elixir out.
I was really happy with how it truly did add shine into my hair. The product actually has teeny tiny sparkles throughout it, so I actually found that my hair would have a sparkly glint to it in the sunshine.
What I did not like about this product was the smell. While it had that bright sweet smell off the bat, it seemed to be mixed with a strong chemically smell.
The smell fades quickly, but it made me feel like the product had a lot of alcohol in it.
