Spring here in Vancouver is simply beautiful, and already I am seeing signs of it pop up all over the city. It’s exciting to see flowers in bloom, the sun shining, and people going outdoors in t-shirts again (though, admittedly I’m still in sweaters I’m a wimp when it comes to being cold) and it makes me even more antsy for spring to be here.
As a fashion lover and style blogger, new seasons and new trends are two things I pay attention to. While I don’t live by trends, I do find that they are a great way to refresh your wardrobe and add a bit more fun to a look. With winter slowly coming to a close, I have been cruising around pinterest, magazines, and my favourite blogs to find my favourite spring fashion trends – and today I am sharing a few of my absolute favorites.

Stylish Sets

Frayed Jeans
If you’re not sure what frayed jeans are, it’s time to get to know them! One trend that I have been excited to see has been frayed edge denim. This sort of stylish and un-done version of denim creates a really laid back and unique look. Share in the comments how would you style these jeans! [show_shopthepost_widget id=”1418583″]
Bright in White
Being named as 2016’s colour of the year, White is a colour to embrace in your wardrobe this year. Just remember to carry around a tide-to-go pen to combat those pesky coffee stains. [show_shopthepost_widget id=”1418587″]
High Waist Fits
Create a more elongated silhouette this spring with elegant high waist fits. Since I was never really a fan of low-slung denim (I mean, how could one comfortably sit down in those things!?), I am thrilled to see mid-rise and high-rise denim making a major comeback. Love that top! Red is such a good color for you!
And I know what you mean, it always takes me longer to transition out of sweaters even though if it were Fall I would still be in tees, temperature-wise. Funny how that works.
