As a Vancouver Style Blogger, there’s one thing I love about this city – it’s our clear and definite change in seasons. While we may not have the most severe winters, we do get to enjoy the four seasons to the fullest.  We’ve had a few really beautiful days lately, and it’s really the first time this year that has both felt and looked like spring. One thing I love about this time of year is how my daily style takes a turn to be brighter and honestly, a bit more playful. During the winter, I get stuck in a limbo of comfortable knits and my pajamas, but spring refreshes my perspective on fashion. The one place I get especially bored with my style is the office. I get up at 5 AM, throw on whichever comfortable and cozy pieces I can find, and head out of the door in search of coffee. Spring offers a change in this, and style no longer lives under the ruling of cold windy weather. It’s easier to wear lighter blouses, brighter colours, and walk out the door without feeling overwhelming concern that you’re going to catch a cold! Today I am sharing a few must-try spring trends that are totally office-worthy. vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfits vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfits

Spring Trends to Wear to the Office

There are so many gorgeous trends this spring, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Spring is always an exciting time of year, and perhaps it’s even more exciting because unlike fall to winter when style seems to simply just transition to heavier knits, spring invitingly encourages us to completely overhaul our look with new + refreshed spring trends. Forget the sweaters and boots – go bolder, brighter, and embrace spring classics (like florals!) vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfits vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfits vancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfitsvancouver style blog, vancouver fashion blog, vancouver fashion bloggers, best vancouver fashion blog, fashion blog, vancouver style blogger, vancouver style bloggers, vancouver lifestyle blog, vancouver travel blog, canadian fashion blog, canadian style blog, canadian travel blog, popular fashion blog, popular style blog, bree aylwin, fashion styles, vancouver fashion blogger, top fashion blogs, popular fashion blogs, top style blogs, the urban umbrella style blog, spring office outfit ideas, spring fashion, spring outfits

Spring Trends to Try ASAP at the Office:

Floral Pants

If you want to really brighten up your wardrobe this spring then do so with a floral pair of pants! These Hue Floral Legging Jeans are incredibly comfortable, easy to wear, and instantly add a playful pop of colour to your look.

A Sandy Trench

A gorgeous sandy jacket will always prove useful and stylish during the spring. It layers lightly and elegantly over any look to create professional and sleek outfits that you can take to the office and anywhere else you decide to go! This lightweight Soia and Kyo Jacket is not only gorgeous and comfortable to wear, you can also buy it now at Fine Finds Boutique and receive 10% off your purchase simply by using the code “SpringSaleWithBree” when you’re in the store! This exclusive deal is available until March 31st – so head over to Yaletown’s Find Finds Boutique today!!

A Mini-Bag

One trend I have been obsessed with over the last few months has been “mini bags”. Rather than the clunky over-sized bags, I’m used to, these dainty and feminine mini handbags add a delicate pop of colour while also creating a unique overall look. Since we are all so used to larger handbags, these unexpected smaller handbags are a welcomed and refreshing take on a classic style essential. This gorgeous Teal Matt & Nat handbag immediately caught my eye at Fine Finds Boutique and you can currently snag your own there with 10% off using the “SpringSaleWithBree” code at the till!

**Head to Yaletown’s Fine Finds Boutique and shop all Mackage & Soia and Kyo jackets & Purses and receive 10% off by using “SpringSaleWithBree” at the till! Happy Shopping!!

Thank you, Fine Finds Boutique for partnering with me on this post! All opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.

If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want to spend all of my spare time off grid, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees and mountains — I would’ve told you that you were crazy... But here we are 🤷‍♀️😂🌲💛 #WhereLifeLeads
“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛

I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the loss and illness that so many have experienced from C. It has been an extraordinarily hard two years for many, many people, for all sorts of different reasons and it is not my aim to diminish any of them. What I am trying to express is that we are at a breaking point societally.

If we continue to move forward with coercion, mandates, restrictions, and divisive passports based on fear (or a hope) then we risk setting precedents that we may not be comfortable leaning on in the future. We also risk dividing our society to such a degree that may make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever bring back together. Despite all of the debates, arguments, and comments made over the last few years, I do not believe that deep down Canadians want to live in a state of perpetual division.

If this is not the time to unite and end these mandates, when is? It is our systems that are broken, and they have been broken for a very long time. We all know this. Let's unite and fix them, and more together 💛

Creating our own peace ☮️

Nearing the end of 2021, one thing that Jer & I wanted to prioritize was creating our own peace. Life has been exhausting for the last long while and, like most people, our mental well-being suffered from the current state of Canada. We knew we needed to make some changes, add something to our lives to remove us (even temporarily, now and again) from the chaos that is now the “new normal”. So, we began making road trips around BC to find our very own home away from home. I feel immensely lucky to now have this remote sanctuary in our lives. It is somewhere we can go when life gets too overwhelming, somewhere we could live eventually if life continues to be overwhelming. In just the first few days here, I’ve already felt a shift in my mindset. I feel incredibly lucky to have this place and already it feels like home. 💖
✨Growing pains✨ . . . 2021, for many of us, w ✨Growing pains✨
. . .
2021, for many of us, was a year of growth. Some of it was painful, most of it inspiring, and all of it necessary. Sometimes growing means needing to shed the older versions of ourselves and sometimes that can be difficult or cause a loss in friendships or relationships. It can be challenging - believe me, I get it. But, anything or anyone who couldn't respect your growth then won't respect your future growth. While growth can be painful it is not nearly as painful as the dull consistent ache of feeling stuck.
