Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadows:

There are 8 shadows total in the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow collection, which include:

Chem Trail: Described as a “oyster with iridescent sparkle”. This is a champagne gold colour that is really beautiful looking in the tube. However, this shadow applies very patchy, and the glitter is quite gritty.

Zap: One of my favourites in the collection, zap is a bronze shadow with a very soft golden sparkle in it.The formula is very creamy, and the shadow applies very pigmented and opaque. It is described as “gold with tonal sparkle”

Spacetime: Another favourite, Spacetime is a deep chocolatey brown shade with gold sparkle throughout it. The formula is very creamy, and the shadow applies very pigmented and opaque. This shadow is described as a “deep coppery bronze with iridescent sparkle”.

Recharged: This is a light rose gold tone shadow, with pink and gold sparkle throughout it. When you turn this shadow takes on stronger notes of pink or gold.

Like Chem Trail, this shadow does not apply in a uniform way and there are “bald patches” in the overall application. The glitter in this shadow is also a bit more gritty. Recharged is described as “peach with pink shift & sparkle”.

Solstice: This shadow is a soft cranberry toned shadow with red, pink, gold, and blue-ish sparkle in it. This shadow is a very creamy formula, and applies very evenly. Solstice is described as “pink-red with green 3-D sparkle & shift”

Magnetic: This deep purple shadow is super creamy, and the shadow applies very pigmented and opaque. Magnetic is described as “purple with iridescent sparkle” and is one of my favourites in the collection.

Vega: This shadow is described as a “bright blue with iridescent sparkle”. I noticed it had purple sparkle through it, and while the formula was creamy like some of the others it didn’t apply as evenly as hoped.

This shadow is buildable and you could eventually achieve a more even look, but it would take a bit of time and commitment to playing around with the product.

Zodiac: This shadow is a deep green / black shadow with green sparkle in it. This is a very daring and pigmented colour, and the formula of it is quite creamy. Zodiac is described as “smoky black w/blue-green shift & blue-green 3-D sparkle”.

Cost: These shadows cost $29.00 at Sephora. Shop the full Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow here!

If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want If you had told me 10 years ago that I would want to spend all of my spare time off grid, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees and mountains — I would’ve told you that you were crazy... But here we are 🤷‍♀️😂🌲💛 #WhereLifeLeads
“I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛 I s “I want to grow seeing you smiling” 💛

I saw so many powerful messages today from people sharing their "why" — the reason behind why they were there and standing as one of the "fringe". Here's a few reasons that I saw and heard:

- Why? Because I want my child to grow seeing smiles and smiling
- Why? Because I miss my family and loved ones.
- Why? Because my lived experience tells me not to trust what is happening right now.
- Why? Because I believe in our informed consent principles.
- Why? Because I believe in choice without coercion.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my job as a healthcare worker.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my business.
- Why? Because I’ve lost my home.
- Why? Because I’ve been injured.
- Why? Because I think there’s a better way forward for everyone.
- Why? Because I chose what I knew was best for me and I want everyone else to be free to do that as well.

Everyone has a unique reason why, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge them. Now is the time. Let's come together and be united💛

I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the I want to be clear: I am not trying to dismiss the loss and illness that so many have experienced from C. It has been an extraordinarily hard two years for many, many people, for all sorts of different reasons and it is not my aim to diminish any of them. What I am trying to express is that we are at a breaking point societally.

If we continue to move forward with coercion, mandates, restrictions, and divisive passports based on fear (or a hope) then we risk setting precedents that we may not be comfortable leaning on in the future. We also risk dividing our society to such a degree that may make it difficult, if not impossible, to ever bring back together. Despite all of the debates, arguments, and comments made over the last few years, I do not believe that deep down Canadians want to live in a state of perpetual division.

If this is not the time to unite and end these mandates, when is? It is our systems that are broken, and they have been broken for a very long time. We all know this. Let's unite and fix them, and more together 💛

Creating our own peace ☮️

Nearing the end of 2021, one thing that Jer & I wanted to prioritize was creating our own peace. Life has been exhausting for the last long while and, like most people, our mental well-being suffered from the current state of Canada. We knew we needed to make some changes, add something to our lives to remove us (even temporarily, now and again) from the chaos that is now the “new normal”. So, we began making road trips around BC to find our very own home away from home. I feel immensely lucky to now have this remote sanctuary in our lives. It is somewhere we can go when life gets too overwhelming, somewhere we could live eventually if life continues to be overwhelming. In just the first few days here, I’ve already felt a shift in my mindset. I feel incredibly lucky to have this place and already it feels like home. 💖
✨Growing pains✨ . . . 2021, for many of us, w ✨Growing pains✨
. . .
2021, for many of us, was a year of growth. Some of it was painful, most of it inspiring, and all of it necessary. Sometimes growing means needing to shed the older versions of ourselves and sometimes that can be difficult or cause a loss in friendships or relationships. It can be challenging - believe me, I get it. But, anything or anyone who couldn't respect your growth then won't respect your future growth. While growth can be painful it is not nearly as painful as the dull consistent ache of feeling stuck.
