Dark force is a medium brown shadow with a gold glitter. Described by Urban Decay as ““taupe-brown with gold and iridescent 3-D sparkle”, this shadow has a sparkly finish to it which gives a fun 3D effect.
Dark Force has a very warm undertone to it and has soft flecks of purple throughout.
This shadow’s sparkle was quite heavy which makes for a lot of fall-out. Since this shadow tends to transfer during application, I recommend either applying it with a bit of water or saline solution, and tapping the excess product off before applying.
Ether is a stunning deep eggplant purple shadow with pink and lavender shimmer throughout. This eyeshadow has a deep black undertone to it which becomes more apparent when applied with a bit of water or saline.
I did notice that when I applied Ether that there was some fall-out. To eliminate having eyeshadow ending up all over your cheeks, simply tap your brush lightly before applying this eyeshadow or apply it with a bit of water / saline to really get the shadows full effect.
Moonspoon is a charcoal grey shadow with silver sparkle. I would describe this eyeshadow as a warm gunmetal grey with a lively silver sparkle.
This shadow is beautiful but its heavy glitter does make it slightly more difficult to blend.
This colour doesn’t apply as pigmented as it looks in its container, but you can easily deepen the colour by dampening the brush with either water or saline and then applying this shadow.
Interstellar may be my favourite shadow in this collection!
Interstellar is a bright gold shadow with gold and light pink sparkle. I found this shadow very easy to blend and loved the bright shimmer that changed from gold to pink depending on the light.
Initially, I found that this colour applies lightly, but when applied with a damp brush the colour deepens and appears much bolder.
Intergalactic is a dark eggplant purple eyeshadow with cool silver sparkle.
When applied with a dry brush, this colour applies more like a light lavender with silver shimmer than the dark rich purple seen in the pan.
To deepen this shadow, simply apply it with a damp brush. The colour then appears much more opaque and bright.
Glitterrock is a soft mauve pink with silver and darker pink shimmer.
This eyeshadow applies very softly both with or without a damp brush which makes it a great eye-lid shadow.
Since there tends to be a lot of fall out with this shadow, definitely use a damp brush simply to eliminate some of the transfer of the glitter and shadow, or hold a tissue under your eye to catch the fallen shimmer and shadow.
Scorpio is a dramatic deep black eyeshadow with bright gold shimmer.
This eyeshadow applies quite pigmented but can be further deepened when applied with a dampened brush.
This colour is great for creating a smokey eye look, or as a rich eye crease colour.
I loved the rich gold pigment of this shadow and how it changed from matte black to bright gold/black depending on the light.
Shockwave is a beautiful and bright magenta purple eyeshadow that immediately caught my eye when I unpacked all of these eye-shadows.
It’s not often I wear a pink eyeshadow, but this bold magenta one swayed me to try it for an evening out look.
While this shadow looks quite bright in the pan, I found that when applied it had a bit more of a plum tone to it – which I loved.
Plum tones are often my favourites for both shadows and blushes, so I was excited to see this change in tone.
This shadow applied very opaque even without being applied with a damp brush and I didn’t find any issue with fallout/ transfer.
Solstice is a shadow that I would describe as a cranberry red with aqua sparkle.
When applied, this eyeshadow has a rich copper tone and the aqua/ teal sparkle shines brightly.
This shadow did transfer quite a bit, so this is another shadow I would recommend applying with a damp brush.
Space Cowboy is a soft rose gold / champagne shadow with a subtle silver and sandy beige sparkle.
This shadow was another one of my favourites as I am always drawn to these light, soft, and romantic colours.
This practical shadow is very wearable for daytime, though it does have some issue with fall out/ transfer.
When applying, use a damp brush to lessen the fallout and to length the wear time.
Zodiac is another black eyeshadow, but unlike scorpio – this shadow has a deep blue/green sparkle.
This shadow wasn’t my favourite initially, but when applied with a damp brush I was incredibly impressed by the intensity of the colour and by how easy it was to blend.
This is a shadow you’ll want to apply with a damped brush in order to get the full impact of colour as well as lengthen the wear time.
Vortex is a dark olive green shadow with gold and green sparkle. It’s rich gold pigment deepens the overall look of the olive green to create a really bold eyeshadow look.
This shadow applies more like a metallic shadow as the glitter is quite refined.
Unlike the other shadows in this collection, this shadow had very little fallout and was very pigmented with or without being applied with a damp brush.
