Today I am sharing a very Soft and Natural Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial. This look only takes a few minutes to do, and it looks great all day long!
I consider myself a minimalist when it comes to my daily makeup. I am drawn to light natural looks that air on the side of barely-there rather than ones that are dramatic or bold.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a bold lipstick but when it comes down to it – natural makeup is my favourite sort of look.
Natural Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial
This Valentine’s I’m sticking to a soft & delicate colour palette of chocolate browns, rosy pinks & peachy shimmers.
Light & fresh colour palettes like this help to create a look that transitions from day to night with ease, so you can enjoy your date without worrying about reapplying your lipstick!
Step by Step Natural Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial
The first step in this Natural Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial is concealer! I begin by spot concealing using my Josie Maran Cream Concealer. I love this concealer because it’s very hydrating and it doesn’t settle into the fine lines under my eyes. I simply swipe it on under my eyes and then blend it out using my finger.
Then, I apply the Benefit Hoola Bronzer to my eyes. I like to add this onto my eyelids as it just adds a very soft bronzed look to the lid and since I also will be applying it to my forehead, cheeks, and jawline, it all kind of works nicely together. I also just softly darken the eye crease using the deepest brown shade from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette.
Next, I apply a cat eye with the Lise Watier Liquid Eyeliner – this eyeliner has been one of my favourites for years. If you haven’t already, check out my Lise Watier Liquid Eyeliner review!
When the eyes are all done, I go ahead and apply the Maybelline Colossal mascara to my eyelashes.
On the face, I first apply the Benefit Hoola Bronzer (to my forehead, under cheekbones, and under my jawline) and then I go ahead and apply a little bit of the Josie Maran stick blush in “Spice” to my cheeks. This is one of the most beautiful blushes – it has such a stunning peachy coral tone to it.
Then I go ahead and use the Bare Minerals blush/highlighter in The Love Affair. This has a slightly peachy look to it that really gives a nice warm glow to the cheeks.
Then I apply a bit of my favourite Fresh Beauty lip balm in Petal to my lips. This is such a great moisturizing lip balm. If you have dry lips, you’ll love this balm!
And that is the completed look! It’s really quick, easy, and I just love how it looks! I hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial.

nice make-up ;-))
