Whether you’re working at an office, or from home, working on a computer all day is hard on your eyes, and your mind. And if you’re office has fluorescent lighting then you’ve likely experienced a bad headache or two while trying to get your daily tasks worked up. Side note: If you have fluorescent lighting in your home office, it’s time to update – for your sanity’s sake.
When I was in high school, I suffered from terrible migraines. The sort of migraines that make you throw up, sit in a dark room, and sleep for the rest of the day. It was the worst. Back then, I didn’t realize that sitting under those harsh lights, staring, or rather – squinting, if I forgot my glasses, were the culprits behind my frequent and painful headaches. Well, that was also back when my hypothyroidism was undiagnosed.
Fast forward a few years and rather than staring at a chalkboard I was staring at a screen, and rather than being able to head home or take a timeout – I had to pop Advil like they were going out of style. It wasn’t until I was in my early 20s that I realized that there were other methods – natural methods – to soothing my head and boosting my immune system. So, I put down the Advil, and I picked up a Peppermint Halo roller from Saje Wellness.
While headaches have been a major issue for me over the years, it’s definitely not the only thing I struggle with, which is why I love my Remedy Bar from Saje Wellness. This bar has a roller for headaches, your immune system, gut health, stress, and pain. I love keeping one of these remedy bars at my desk, right in front of me, so when I begin to feel an upset stomach coming on, a headache, or an ache from yesterday’s workout – I can just grab a roller or two to naturally soothe the issue at hand.
